Amazing how much it looks like the Amigo/ Alivin 80. The frames look identical as well as the plastics. BTW the Amigo was built in Spain with a Morini engine made in Italy.
John, does it do it when it's kicked over, or bump started backwards?
The kids Rookie starts all by itself! Pull the clutch in, roll it backwards
and it starts.
Don't be too hard on the Italian's or I'll be forced to mention two words.

I once heard the only reason early MG's had spoked wheels was so you
could bash the starter with a tire tool through the wheel.

I should have explained better. I'd like drawings of the inside of the motor so I have a good chance at getting the new clutch cover on right. Darn kick starters!
Interesting that the Gas Gas Museum pdf. doesn't show a Rookie engine.
Looks like a 50cc Morini but is doesn't have the hydraulic clutch.
