Addingam Moorside British National Trial.
Depends which way you normally come from but the Car Park is on the corner where the Road drops down into Silsden. You go in and buy a programme and you are in. The surprise is at least three "new" sections not in the normal Practise area. Where they are you'll just have to wait and see. (Nope not Emmotts or the land across the road).

3.20-4t Riders Unite
Saw Killer Kendrew's new 3.2 at the Ripon Evening trial on Saturday evening. He seemed to be able to start it ok and commented it seemed "sharper" than the "old" model at the bottom end.

Bradford Super Stars Trial!
Nice to see Sam Beecroft-Penny doing so well! And I believe it's Danielle Whitham on the "D" class results, (Given the front page story we need to encourage our Young Lady riders!).

Gasgas Air Box
The usual mods are to block the two side vents and also the "drain" hole at the bottom of the airbox. We also bought another Filter which is supposed to be an improvement over the Gas Gas item. We haven't done these as the bike seemed to be ok without them.

Barnsley Trial Near Wombwell Tomorrow (weds)
The way we go is to come off the M1 at Junction 36 and go down the A6195 to wards Wath. I think it's about 5 roundabouts down and you need to take the Wombwell turn signposted for the station. When you get to the Crossroads go straight across. This takes you on to Dovecliffe Road. This takes you alongside Wombwell Wood. The trial Venue is on the right about a mile up. If the Sections are close to the road you'll see them on the right. Either way It's a road on the right I think with some signs pointing to a Recycling site(I think that's what it is). As you go down the road hairpins left and the trial entrance is on the outside of that corner. Take direction from the officials as to where to park as it can be a bit tight.

Observers
Yet again this topic has to be brought to the attention of riders. StuartC has a observer abused and insulted at a trial. Why!! because he has given a 5! I'm sorry but how do some riders expect Trials to continue in this climate. We are not Premiership footballers, the observer can be swayed if you ask but to abuse a volunteer especially in the conditions on Sunday is not permissable. I was out at West Leeds and due to problems couldn't take a position, however at Horsforth I was out there marking. Whenever I can I take a section which is difficult when My lad is attempting to climb to the hard route in only his fourth/fifth full year of riding I expect a little ribbing but some riders are to be honest taking the p1$$ expecting a clean to be marked when a five is clearly what they should have. At My age they tend not to argue, however when I am following NYL (slowly and usually in distress), I have felt the need to step in now and again. Fortunetly in the Yorkshire centre we do have experienced observers, Getting some to replace them in years to come may prove difficult if the attitude's StuartC's young observer came across persist. Chill out and remenber. If the observer gives you a 5 then your rivals probably will get one as well!!!!!! P.S. What hell Am I doing here on break night at this time!!!!!!!!!!!!

Usa Day 1
Interesting, In standard form I'd say the Gas Gas has a big edge over the Sherco normally but Wiggy's bike is something else. NYL's bike has a few mods that make it better than the Standard bike and it has shown in recent trials, (Despite niggling cooling problems). NYL has noted that the bike in the Photo's didn't look like the bike Alex normally uses so perhaps Louis gained ground on Alex because of that. Having said that I think the conbination is the key. The better the bike "feels" the more a good rider can "use" it.
