  1. Hi Mick, do you still have the original breather hose in place ? If you do does the end of the breather end higher our lower than the box ? My 250 did the same until a fitter moved the end of the tube higher than the box to stop it from syphoning the oil out of the box. It also had a blockage in the clutch retaining screw. Good look bud.

    Rev3 Reving!

Hi tone 27 if any bike starts revving out put your hand over the end of the exhaust. Saved me a couple of times. Good luck.
  3. Hi Danyorks, bud there is no spring in the twist part of the throttle on my machine. The spring is in the top of the carb! Also if i gently tug outwards at the rubber part of the twist grip the fast springyness returns to the throttle. It could also be that the carb is gummed up if its been stood for a while. Hope this helps.
  4. You could try loosening your grip. Sounds crazy but it works, it'll improve your riding no end to. Ryan young gives this advice all the time. Give his DVD a watch. You can also find the clip on you tube. Good luck
  5. Did you walk away from it bud?
  6. My 2011 250 does that too ! Wasn`t worried about it until now !
  7. Make sure you get all that water out and dry and reoil the filter before you try and restart it bud. Welcome along.
  8. Thought because if your size and weight you'd have got a 250 ! Never mind. Best of luck though.
  9. How old are you and how heavy are you ?
  10. Hi bud, welcome along. I was the same as you a couple of years ago and I wish I'd saved up more money for my bike. I had paid a grand for mine too and ended spending nearly the same again just to keep it in useable condition. So my advice would be to spend more cash bud.

    Carb Freezing

Hi, this happened to a friend of mine on a child day turned out there was some water in the air box ! When the air box and filter were dried out it ran perfect all day in minus three degrees c.
  12. Hi Stevie, mine is short too I think that's how it's meant to be. Mine was pooping off too, Turns out the plug cap needed a nip with some pliers because it wasn't gripping the plug top very well. only took a minute. Yeah it's totally normal for the fan to keep coming on. Hope this helps.
