  1. Well done trials uk, good customer service is such a rare thing these days.
  2. Had the same happen to me twice. The first time the fuel filter was partially blocked, put a new one in sorted. Second time different bike, the fuel tank breather on the cap was blocked by nipping of the pipe between tank and frame ! It was routed wrongly !
  3. Don't like to see others struggle like I did.
  4. Mate, I made the mistake of thinking that bigger is better when I first started and also bought a 290 sherco. Huge mistake, far too much power. I now ride a 250 gas gas, spot on for a beginner. I also have a huge bike history.
  5. Hi guys, I`m planning on going to the Tweed Valley Trial on Sunday and was wondering what to expect compared to the north east trials. I normally ride the easy route, but I have been told that their trials are easier. Not sure if that person was pulling my leg or not. Anyone had any experience of both ?
  6. Good luck. Enjoy the day and don`t let the nerves spoil your fun. They usually wear off after a couple of sections.

Pop it off and give it a good clean. Check fir crud under the rubbers. Push the piston back to make sure it is working properly. Sounds like it just needs some tlc. Good luck. P.S. Are you going to the trial on the ninth ? I think it`s a Tweed valley trial. It`ll be my first and last this year due to illness. Might see you there. Message me if you fancy going and want a buddy to ride with.
  8. Hi mate, try to get someone to train with it`ll help your progress no end, it`ll also help with your pictures. Great stuff.
  9. Welcome along you are in the right place on here.
  10. Agreed. lose the music please.
  11. Welcome along bud, get yourself to a trial. The best way to learn is to do. Smile face.
  12. There is an excellent wheel builder in Houghton le spring. But that's all he does. You'd have to get the other stuff done yourself.
  13. Where abouts are you in the country?
  14. Thank goodness for that. I always worry about that when buying second hand. Good luck with the rear guard.
  15. No dadof2, i'm not a TIG welder but I watched a bloke weld mine no bother at all ! Just thought I would pass on the info to try and help a fellow trialist. Only trying to be helpful. Thought that was point of this site. Apologies if it came across as anything else.
  16. Tig weld it, ask your welder to do it. Really easy if you know what you`re doing. Good luck.
  17. There is no such thing as a silly question, only silly answers.
