It's a sidevalve engine - as it was rumoured to be. In the past they have been sluggish and gutless, but with modern technology, who knows. It will certainly reduce weight and lower the centre of gravity.

The other rumour was fuel injection, with the exhaust running almost all the way around the engine it's hard to see the inlet.

Been plenty of racing sidevalves in the past, cars and bikes, especially over the pond but they're not ideally suited to producing a lot of power for a long time or at high rpm either.

They tend to be very compact torquey motors. This'll be interesting, nearly as interesting as a red frame and new plastics.

Looks like a side value based motor.........Very interesting way to keep things small, low center of gravity and tiddy looking.......Very nice Engr work....on an trusted proven design.........D

nice & compact ......but how long before someone crush's front exhaust pipe onto frame !!!!

Why would you crush the front pipe ? How many people do you no that have crushed one on a Pro ? I don't know any....

I think its looks mega ! :D
