Might be a daft question but are they universal or specific as i see some with the bike type referenced but others not? Which will fit an Epure race 2021? Cheers

I feel like this question may have been answered before, have searched all over and can't find an answer. I apologize if this has been addressed before. I think the 2020 models were the first ones with the available hydraulic clutch. Can this clutch be retrofitted to 2020+ models that did not have the clutch initially like the lite and the sport models? If so, how much should I expect something like this to set me back? I am very mechanically inclined so I would do the work myself. Thanks

I have recently purchased one new and quite surprised there is no manual or anything with it so did anyone else get one with theirs?

Is it possible to charge an EM off an inverter from a car? Anyone know specification of the charger? Is there an optional charger that might be plugged into a running vehicle?

2023 Epure Race, manual pgs 33 and 35 and 36, TKO and TC Traction control do not seem to work, even after reset. (The FRB, motor braking works) EM Connect, the app, I can't get through the screen to enter a code. I have worked with the dealer, who is sending me a switch and diagnostic cable. Dealer says the feature is new and optional, it doesn't know. I have emailed EM France without any reply on these three issues. Is there something the dealer and I are missing? Thank you. John

Hi guys. I've got a new to me em 5.7 around 2012 (no idea how to figure out the year) Basically the green light is always on. No matter if the battery is switched off or the switch gear is off. The only way I can turn off the green light is to disconnect the wiring at the 2 amp fuse . The handle bar switch appears to work for killing the bike. But the green light remains on regardless. I'm guessing this isn't right. I'll pull the switch apart and have a look. But any advice appreciated. Cheers

Is there enough slack in the wiring to install taller handlebars? I'm 6'5" (195cm) and an old guy. My back hates being bent over too far and also I have more pressure on the bars than I'd like--I can't get into a relaxed position.

Hi, I'm looking to buy a used Epure sport. The 2020 bikes are £1500 cheaper than the 2021 bikes. Was there much change from 2020 to 2021, all i can see is in reviews is the forks are better and there were small refinements to the power delivery on the 2021. Also is there a built-in hour meter or an indication of how many charge cycles it has done?

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this - logically to me it belongs in EM. The only fault I can find with the latest EM bikes is that they are a bit heavier than the ICE alternative. With solid state batteries soon to be a feature of the light car market I wonder if this will be the next development for electric trials bikes? The downside is going to be cost andalready the EM is more expensive than a Montesa or similar, but to be fair not by much. Gents, very interested in going electric and just wondered what’s the position regarding riding an EM Escape (or a Oset 24) on the road in the UK? Is it possible to register these?

The map indicator light has stopped working on my '21 ePure Race. It became erratic a little while ago but then recovered. Now it's completely dead. I've cleaned the connector contacts and smeared with dielectric grease, but no joy. Has anyone else had the problem? How did you fix it?

HI~ I have Em pure-R 2022 I found out later that this button is the engine brake button. I want to know if it charges when I press this button. My rear shock from my 2022 EPR is blown. I do not want to spend big bucks, so I am thinking rebuild Vs a used R16V? If so, is there a single size for the R16V?

I have a 2016 EM with the 3 position power switch as well as the handlebar map. So far I have been really impressed with the bike but the other day it lost a lot of power in the lower two power settings although it seemed OK in the highest setting. This did follow my granddaughter crashing it fairly heavily and burying the throttle. Finished the day out on the high setting. When I looked at it the wheel was rolling on the stand with the throttle closed on the highest setting but not the lower two. I adjusted the throttle to stop that, after taking the throttle to bits to make sure it was all ok and tried the bike very quickly and thought it seemed OK. Unfortunately t…

Just a heads up that the (whole) EM factory team are runing a couple of short EM training sessions at Kettering on the Monday (8 Sep) after the GP weekend. Its booked with Inch Perfect and only open to EM bikes. I have a TRS so it will just be the missus going. Hello everyone, New EM owner here, picked up a used 22 epure race couple weeks ago. What a fun bike, been having a blast with it. Although I have one issue that I cant figure out, went through this forum and haven’t seen a similar issue. When riding the bike for a bit randomly it will start to hold revs sort of similar to if the TKO is turned on even tho it is not on. If I hold in the clutch and release the throttle the revs will very slowly come back down very similar to a lean condition on a ICE bike. But With no clutch engaged the bike does not pull or want to inch forward. It will do this in all 3 maps. Then after a little while of this if I pull the kill tether …

Have a new 23 epure (not race). I’m struggling with the lack of feel in the rear brake. I’ve been riding a 5.7 since err 2014! Upgraded in 2016 and from the getgo converted the back brake to left handlebar mount (like my mountain bike) primarily to stop the woohoo let’s go backwards free wheel experience when the motor cuts on a sudden load (going over a log fast uphill). You only do it once! 23 has the anti reverse- nice so I thought I’d be a big boy again and go foot brake but it’s horrible no feel it’s nearly put me over the bars - it’s like a very good parking brake! I use the PRB but I like the throttle against the rear brake to tighten turns and the PRB doesn’t …

I finally found a tidy 2016 EM at sensible money and have had a couple of plays on it now. Has to be said that I've barely ever ridden a modern trials bike so can't really compare it to anything newer than a mid 70s Bultaco Sherpa. However I have been really impressed so far. The bike is a lot better than me and better than I am ever likely to be at my age. There are 3 settings plus 2 maps which seem to control the throttle response for each, it is very mild on the lowest one with my near 14 stone on it.
