Hi! I have aquired a Ty250c twinshock that has "Boge Orca 125-317" shocks on it that are in like new condition. I have been searching the web to try to find out if these were actually for a trials or enduro or whether they are for a vintage road bike. Boge was sold out to Af Sachs and I cannot get any reply from them. I need to find an old catalog from the 70's for references. Any ideas? Thanks!

just wondering if you can still get a yamaha dating certificate for these old yams if i managed to pick one up and it was not road reg would like a proper year plate and not a Q plate as insurance does not seem to like it cheers,,,

I need a new 1st oversize piston for a 320 Majesty engine. I believe that a DT360 was used originally, do pistons from any other models fit? Thanks

Is there a good way to clean/flush the mid section on my TY250A ? It seems pretty mucked up and I thought about trying to flush it with diesel fuel.I don,t know if there is any packing material in there that might get ruined by anything I might use to flush it with.If so,then is like a Sherpa exhaust where you have to cut it open to properly do the job?

Hi currently running 50 rear and 13 front and would like it to be more section friendly. I never use it on roads or trails. All advice greatfully recieved.

Just curious what this little eccentric does.Under the left side engine cover,held tight with a locknut.Part #20 in this diagram.Anyone know how this needs to be set properly? I haven't had a problem with the clutch.Just getting to know the bike better. 1976 model.

Hi there I have a 175 and one of the flywheel magnets has broken This might be a stupid question but does it need 4 magnets or would 2 opposite be ok if they were by the coil when it needs to spark or is there anywhere i can get a magnet from.

Undertaking a full resto of 1974 Ty250a and need an up damaged left hand crankcase cover due to chain damage - appreciate these are hard to find but any help will be appreciated - many thanks

I'm going to look at a TY80 for sale on Saturday. Not cheap - 900 USD, but judging from the pics very clean. Top end recently rebuilt, new wide pegs, I'll know more when I see it. I think it's a 1974, but I'm not certain. Any particular TY80 weak points I should be looking for on the bike? TIA, Sam

hi how do you remove chain tensioner on ty175 is the circlip on the inside by the tyre or the out side . as new ones show it hollow where it mounts and mine is like capped on the outside any help appreciated

Upon restoration I noticed 2 holes (left and right of brass filters) that had some debris in them. Not to sure if these holes must extend all the way into the cock's chamber. What is their purpose & should they be totally penetrable with a thin wire into a chamber? Mine seem plugged. Thanks

Help! I have just bought a TY250R and the clutch basket has one of the edger pieces snapped off (the parts the plates slide through). Is this useable? ive just seen some damaged clutch baskets (the same) on ebay for sale. does the damage matter? If i nned to replace it does anyone have one to sell? Can anyone tell me what the measurements are to reposition the top shock mounts on a twinshock TY250 as per majesty? Also what should the shock length be? Many thanks in advance
