Any other Twinshockers got an entry in the Manx Two Day? Is last man away on the Saturday good or bad? Last time I rode (1995, 240 Fantic) we supplied fuel in cans, which was transported to stops for us - is it still the same setup?

Just thought I would share a couple of pic's of our Ossa TR 350 in action at the Ebacorum Charity Twinshock 2 Day Trial, a superb event, well organised and a really friendly crowd. The Bike was road by my Son Scott it was his first on a Twinshock and he had a wide grin on his face the whole way round, The bike performed well apart from running Rich which we traced to a leaking float, "Thanks again to this forum for the advice" And most important No Scratches or Dents !!! I will post some Pic's and some Video footage on our Web site, www.OSSA-restoration.piczo.com Vaughan.

Hi All, We finally got our Ossa TR 350 out on the rough stuff at the excellent Eboracum 2 day Charity trial, My son Scott rode it on the Saturday only and for just two laps but we had a great time and the bike performed quite well and got lots of positive comments from the other riders / owners. One problem pointed out to me was the bike was running 'Rich', at the risk of proving how un mechanical i am can anyone tell me how to adjust this, also I am mixing Oil to Petrol at 75cc to 5lts is this correct. Cheers, Vaughan & Scott.

Having bought a Ty 175 earlier in the week I have now bought an old H reg Mont,it looks exactly like the one on p70 of vol 2 of 20yrs of twinshock trials - with Dave Rowland riding it. Its in a bit of a state, having been left out in the rain for a while, but its complete apart from an air filter and a few little bits. The engine wont turn over, but I'm not worried about rebuilding the engine except for knowing the best place to get bits from and are they easily available? What are they like to ride, will I like it compared to my TY250 twinshock ? Is the gearbox a 4 or 5 speed ? Sorry to be asking questions yet again but there is so little written about trials bikes and yet …

Hi, I have a Bing Carb fitted to my Ossa TR 350 1977 which in spite of new Seals and bowl Gasket leaks fuel over my nice fresh engine enamel. Does anyone know of a replacement alternative, a knowlagable friend said he used a 'Kawasaki KMX 125' item with good performance and no leaks, Any advice most welcome. Cheers, Vaughan.

Hi to all, Now i`ve got the bike to go forward and stop reasonably well, I find that a mod that I will benifit from is New Footrests/pegs. Simply I need something that will just bolt on to the exsisting lug. Not able to even saw or angle-grind the lugs off is there a quick fix simple footpegs that anyone can recommend? The other factor to me is i`ve got size 11 boots and the original pegs are so small, hope to find pegs that have a larger platform if that is the word? Seen some on ebay and race-spec catalogue (2004) around

Hi Chaps! Ive dragged the old kt250 out of the garage to do up BUT! It needs some new rear shocks i swapped some Betors over from the ossa these are 14 1/2 " between centres when fitted to the KT they jack the rear end up a bit high (i think these are the shortest length avalible?) does anyone do rear shock lengths of around 13 1/2 ? also the bike seems to run to rich ,ie when you flick the choke on the engine cant take it and dies also you can nearly always start the bike without the choke. The airfilters clean and the airscrew is set at one turn out from fully closed! could the needle do with dropping down a couple of notches? thanks in advance Nick.

I am going to MOT the Seeley, The speedo that was supplied with it when new was never fitted to the bike. I noticed in The Four Stroke Finale book the Seeley in there had a speedo fitted low down on the right hand fork. The speedo drive on my bike is on the left and the cable is long enough to bolt the speedo on the top yoke. It is one of the last bikes produced, has anyone else got the same set up ? Also does anyone know what is the closest match for the red used on the frame. Thanks in advance.
