I've just searched the SKY TV listings and came accross Trial Cahors on Motors TV UK, scheduled for Sunday 18th Sep at 2.30pm. "The worlds best trial riders test their equilibrium on one of the toughest courses in Europe laid out in the city centre of the medieval town of Cahors" Is this the french world round or something else from previous years? May be worth checking out. Eurosport 2 lists the second round of the 2011 world trial from Breal-sous-Montfort in France. This could be the last round and I presume they have listed it wrong? Thursday 22nd Sep 10.00pm.

I know that in the past the indoor WTC has gone to some strange venues or not in the case of Buenos Aires. But Ekaterinburg on 22 Dec 2007 beggars belief. Just in case you didn't know the whereabouts of this place, I'm sure the riders where straight onto Google Earth, but it is in Siberia 1000km east of Moscow, North of Borat's home nation of Kazakstan. Its going to be cold and difficult to get to. I wonder who's idea this was. Bytheway who is organising the indoor WTC 2008. Its not Andy's pals at Octagon is it? For Your Information. Tsar Nikolai II and his family were murdered there in 1917. Its a 44 hour train journey from Moscow or 2 hour flight.

I was watching the TrialGP video on Casales' bike and noticed a Dunlop sticker. It would appear the factory team are riding on Dunlops this year, which is a turn up for the books. Michelin must have had a monopoly in the world championships for a decade or more.

This may be a repetition of a topic i put up last year but does anyone think its unfair that Spain ONLY get 4 world rounds (one third !) and a championship of their own in Spain, or do they actually have 2 Spanish championships!. Why dont we have our own UK domestic indoor Trials Championship then our lads will get a bit more practice/experience then go out and beat the Spanish lot. We could get REPSOL to sponsor it with no cover ups.

The french minder carry a huge rock up the steep hillside in section 8 first lap then place it as a kicker in front of a step. Then he was so offended when the observers removed it from the section

I have not seen any announcement of if/where X Trial highlights will be broadcast. A quick scan of the Motors TV schedule didn't reveal anything. Does anybody know if highlights will be televised?

Does anyone really know how much suspension tuning top riders are doing? I see some riders post that they are using aftermarket "factory" tech forks, but what is the different. It just seems interesting to me that in any other form of motorcycle riding, suspension is so important they are testing constantly, but yet no one is offering to valve, or spring (and as far as springs you can find stiffer than stock but not softer), trials bike suspension aftermarket; at least in the US there is 1 person I know of willing to work with the rear shock, but no one for the front forks. If anyone as had the chance to ride any off-road "big" bikes before and after having the…

I've just seen the rider list for the 2007 IWTC, no surprises but it looks like a Raga vs. Cabestany title fight doesn't it? Surely they are the only serious contenders with 3 guys on 4 strokes & 2 wild cards. I think this championship is getting less & less relevant

Why is it that the World Championship Website is so difficult to use and rarely is as 'up to date' as other forms of motorsport. It just seems so typical of the way trials is perceived and administered. Moto GP, World Super Bikes, Formula 1 and every other sport that is competing for the consumer interest and dollar/pound has a state of the art website with live feeds etc etc. Just a thought as the day after the Italian round, the results are not on the 'official' website.

Am I being totally thick ? But did I just read in the GG PR that they are expecting Jeroni Fajardo to be riding in the points at the Portugal WTC in under 2 weeks time. I know that he's having the leg plated, but its still going to be ****ing painful. Not even my mates in the British Supersport would be up for that kind of turnaround from a break - they just love getting plated (sadly) Is RFME making these riders from some kind of different material to us Brits ? Or are GasGas just getting the Superglue and the Tig welder out. If he does ride and get in the points, then total respect to him. It normally takes me about 6 weeks to recover from a fracture, let alone a…

Its great to see that Jarvis, Kuroyama, Nozaki are all making a welcome return to the World Stage, well at least for the Spanish Round. Whether or not they plan to ride any further rounds I don't know. But last years Championship was a little lacking without their prescence. Be also good to see the North East's Michael Phillipson also making the long trip to Andulacia
