I was watching the trial on eurosport earlier on in the week. How come the repsol factory team are still on 06 colours? Micheal Browns team mate Daniele Maurino was riding on a 03 Beta not 07? Any ideals?

Last year my wife and I travelled down to see the out door Andorra round. I am thinking about going to the World Spanish outdoor round and was wondering Are the events this year were going to be held over 1 or 2 days with the 1st day being for the youths again?. Also are the rounds going to be no stop or stop?. Has anyone been to Nigran in Spain and will it be a spectacular trials round? :hat:

The indoor series is for the public to pay to watch the worlds best riders perform. Giving the riders 3 minutes to repair their bike and not allowing a spare bike is a poor idea. To knock Cabestany out of the first round surely was not what they intended. He's Spanish!!!!!

Lets be honest if the British Team of Doug, Dibs and Grimbo manage to take the title from Spain, then it will probably be the biggest ever upset in World Trials. Especially with a Spanish team that boasts the best 3 indoor riders in the World in Bou, Raga and Cabestany. Mind you they still have a better chance against the Spanish than Middlesbrough have against Arsenal. But this is sport and strange things happen. Good luck to the team, I'm sure they will give 100%. (thats both GB and Boro).

After listening to Dougies and Fuji's video clip and their response to no-stop for the WCT I wondered who would really gain an advantage with the no-stop rule? A four-stroke rider or a two-stroke rider. I know the reasoning would be to ease up on the sections, but how much? If a rider can't stop forward motion who really has the advantage on a world champ type large step? Is no-stop really in the cards for 06?

I enjoyed Shirty's article giving an inside view of the recent contract moves at WTC level. Taking his comment that the top 5 are on good money, and the rest aren't, is anyone prepared to say what the ball-park figures might be these days? Trials obviously involves as much commitment and risk as any other sport, and the period of maximum earning potential is probably about the same as many others (around ten years at the most for the majority of competitors?) so it would be interesting to see how the rewards compare. I suspect trials riders are relatively under-paid, simply because the sport isn't awash with money like some others. I know I stand to be shot down as, lik…
