I have just been looking at the FIM site. It appears that there are only 30 riders registered to ride the full WTC!! At least 4 of those will not be riding the full series, or any at all, being Jarvis, Kuroyama, Connor and Colley and there is also the US guy Florin, I don't now whether he is going to ride any, other than the US round. That leaves us with a maximum no of 25 riders!!!! Say in one or two years time, when Lampkin & and maybe a few others decide to hang up their boots, who's going to be left, & what sort of Championship!! Its not that long ago that there were 50 plus riders & any rider that managed to score points had to work B***dy hard to g…

Considering this was only his second indoor trial young Michael rode absolutely outstanding. Other riders have stepped up the huge level to this type of event and struggled, Browny looked confident throughout and showed great composure, even when experiencing mechanical problems. Not only that he rode more sections then any other rider on the night, as he had to ride the shoot out with Ross and Wiggy. I'm sure I am not alone in being very proud of his awesome performance and I hope we see a lot more of him riding indoor events. Hopefully with not as much running about for poor Shaughan, who also responded to the big stage superbly.

Well yet again Bou has come through and taken the title in emphatic style in the indoor championships. Can he be stopped? I think after 10 of each he may consider Extreme Enduro! Good on him I say, the guy is without doubt a level above the competition. I think we will see how good the Honda/Montesa is when Fujigas takes his leave. It'll be interesting to see who steps onto the ride, maybe Casales. Honda do like to snap up the younger talent early to ensure they maintain that no.1 plate. Wish I could get coverage of the full event to watch. We get zero coverage in Australia, which means I can only watch the 20min final that the FIM put on YouTube, which won't be there f…

Spanish web site zonatrial are reporting that Future TRW want Cabestany for next season, and that James Dabill is off to try enduros!! Could it be musical saddles over the winter, or of more concern how many riders in the main WTC next year?

Guys, have never been to a Trials World Championship round before. Am I right in thinking it would be a little like MotoGP - buy your ticket beforehand, and turn up on the weekend of the event? Seeing as there are no rounds in the UK this year, I thought I might whip over to France for the weekend and watch the French round in Maisse. Anyone got any ideas how I get a ticket or two? Cheers - Boner.

Interesting point raised in the ACU forum report. [Q]• Experience at World rounds tended to indicate that even those riders who were not necessarily at the top end of results felt greatly disadvantaged if they were not in the same position as others regarding the number of assistants they had. Once Dougie Lampkin & Adam Raga ended up with 3 – 4 people circulating with them – lots of others are now trying to achieve the same, regardless of ability/ results.[Q] So why is it allowed then ? Many think sections are too difficult/dangerous, but only a few have the security of numerous bodies to catch for them, would the top riders ask for eased sections if no other pers…

Not one to suggest anything underhand might happen in Italy in the final round, but I'd be surprised if Matteo doesn't win the event.

I believe that there was a non-championship event in Tolouse this weekend - anyone have any results? Wondering how James and Michael (in his first world-level indoor event) got on?
