Just returned from a great weekend at hawkstone park for the 8th round of the World Trials Championship. It was amazing, the sections were awesome and didnt look possible to ride the greasy rocky steps i was gob smacked to witness what the riders were getting up. last year was awesome but L & M have gone event bigger this year! I really enjoyed it on both days with colley and dabill doing demos during the day and watchin the legends (saunders, colomer, bilbao, poans, couldnt remeber all the name im sure someone will tell you on the replies) Sorry Andy for not turning up to the TC tent was going to come over after finishing playing on my monty but went back to my tent…

Today was the the first time i rode my Gas Gas jtx 270, in fact the first time ive ridden any trials bike, always thought how easy basic trials riding looked, Oh F... i was wrong, was on it about 3 seconds and the front wheel shot into the air, with me holding on in terror lol, that didnt help the confidence 1 bit, to be fair the 20 year old bike never missed a beat, fast throttle fitted didnt suit me at all, being a beginner, that will be changed, felt quite tense on the bike, causing my hands to get very painful, all that said i had fun and wont be giving up, will just be taking things very slowly

Fellow Trialers i am writing to inform you about a SCAMSTER he calls himself PETER KING he bids on bikes on ebay and has no intention of paying what he has bid.we've heard that he sometimes wont turn up ,or turns up in a car and offers you less money without even checking the bike,he then gives bad feedback and says its not whats advertised. i have met 3 people who have had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting the SCAMSTER,i ride a mont 4RT myself and whilst at sanderfords,i met 1 Guy from Disley who's had to repost his bike and i see theres a chap on here who's had bad reports from the KINGS...he has probably had the same problem with them.if your going to Buy/Sell a Bike…

Given the age-old problems of club trials is that there are never enough people to observe ? What about using technology to allow you to run that 2-lap 20 secion trial you've also wanted to. The topic started in the pub last night and I've made some notes on my web pages about the two options (as I see it) in looking at technology. Interested in any feedback you have or if anyone has already tried this. I want to run some practical experiments in the near future.....

Hi Hot and sunny again today Sunday we have a trial demo at the gold mine in Waihi ,NZ for their open day. It involves our expert and some junior riders. My lad is rideing and i am hopeing to find the air filter full of gold dust. This must be the first event ever in a gold mine. Just thought I would let you now so you can look at the snow and dream. Feet up (on the sofa) and stay warm Pete

Hi all! After riding a Gas Gas for my last two bikes and an older model Sherco as my first, I'm considering a different rig for my next bike. Here's my opinion of current model bikes after taking short rides on each; I love the way the GG handles and turns. I never really had any mech. problems with mine. It doesn't seem as stable going over things as my Sherco did. My clutch adjustment was pretty finicky. The rear shocks seem to get sacked out feeling easily. The Montesas felt wide and the power delivery was a little more sudden and abrupt than I expected (not necessarily a bad thing). The price is really out my range though. Coming off of logs, etc. felt very much …

has anyone tried any of the followin new footpegs? Pivot Pegz- i have tried and am not shure, dont think that the spring is strong enough in them and they seem to cause cramp in you feet Those new titanium foot pegs in this weeks T+MX news- not tried them, not seen them, hoping for any input as to what they are like for grip etc. Apico 8mm lower foot pegs- i currently have these on my bike as i am not exactly short but dont particularly like sacers under mi barsm i think that they are wonderfull, however they have very sharp teeth on them so can to damage to your riding jeans as i have found out, or worse they could seriously damage your legs. also i would assume that…

Hi I’ve just bought a 2001 315 it looks like it has had very little use ,I was going over it and on removing the carb there is what looks like a restrictor plate in the manifold with what looks like a 20mm hole in it ,is this standard? As It is not shown in the parts catalogue, thanks for your help.

hit my first steep hill today. was abit edgey at first. got off the bike and checked it out. approached it on idle in 2nd and off i went. im proud of myself.. coasted down it in 2nd too... after a few more goes i lost traction going up brakes wouldn't hold it.. hit a pot hole unexpected, left hand and foot slipped, bent my thumb and smacked my knee on the foot pegs.. but all part of the game. cant wait for my next day off work..

Hi everyone, I know this seems like a stupid question but I just bought a 2007 beta 250 4-stroke and I'm trying to find out what exact model it's is? VIN is ZD3T3020070000206 . From what i can find its a rev 4T, but then I'm seeing evo's and 4RT's and rev3 4T, etc etc it's a bit confusing 🤡🤯 thanks
