Just an idle thought, in the mid to late '80's it looked like the French were going to dominate the WTC for years to come with riders like the Michaud brothers, Pascal Coutourier (sp), Phillipe Berlatier and so on. What happened to the French, why did they fall off the pace so dramatically?

Aup, I was wonderin what tyres are best? I found with Michelin they get slashed dead easy, but i heard off people that Dunlops with doing lots of road work the tread falls off!? I'm doing the Novogar championship this year and I seem to be annihilating tyres after every one. At the mo i'm running Michelin on the pack and around 3 - 4 PSI. I'm fed up of riding round on slick tyres, Can anyone suggest what to use or what presure to run? tar.

I've been into Skiing, Biking, Sledding (Snowmobile), moto x for years and I've got stacks of videos for each sport. Theres livings to be made and athletes on TV. I wonder if it's a euro thing that has trials so far back, but you guys love the BEST sports. Rally is way bigger, DH racing is way bigger and Freeski contests are going off. Where is the real Big Mountain Trials? To me this seems like it could be the raddest sport on the planet but no one is pushing it, on mountains real technical decending and climbing and HUCKS you guys should be pounding the crusty demons of dirt right back to the motocross track. Am I really the first to think of riding a trials bike on the…

I just got a 2005 Sherco 2.9 Trials bike. I did my first mechanical work on the bike. Wow, what is the trick to getting the airbox back on ?? I had to loosen the muffler and before the airbox would go back on. There must be a trick to it?

I was 40 over Easter - Boooo! especially as the over 40s is more competative than the novices. But.... pressie from Mum and Dad arrived yesterday.. a James Lampkin training day at Addingham Moorside. Fantastic. Something I would probably never have bought myself. Looking forward to it already. Mum saw me ride for the first time in 20 years or so the other week. Perhaps she saw that I needed all the help I can get

Does anyone know where I can buy a pair of new GAR trials boots, the brown oiled ones, not nubuck? I have been searching everywhere for these, and can't seem to get hold of a pair. Lots doing the Nubuck ones, but I can't help thinking they won't last as long as the oiled leather ones. My leather Alpinestars ones have given up after 10 years of loyal service, so I need to replace them ASAP! I have tried all of the 'big' trials shops, but no where seems to have them. Any help appreciated!
