Last Round of ACU Acklams Beta British Ladies and Girls Trials Championships 28th October 2018 With just under four weeks to go until the last round of the British Ladies and Girls Championship, the Trials Park at Corton has seen lots of hard work carried out to provide an event of worthy status. As you may know, our original venue for the event became unavailable and we are very grateful to Chris Edwards of the Trials Park for coming on board; just a pity it’s not closer to Chelmsford in Essex !! We are pleased to say that four of the eight Championships will still up for grabs on the 28th October. In the Ladies, five times World Champion Emma …

Yep it's that time of year again!! The Once a year trial at the Eldroth Venue near Settle will be held on Sunday the 27th August. Flagged from the Settle By-pass, it's at 11am so make sure you get off early as it's about 10-15 mins from the by-pass. ALL Classes catered for Including a conducted "small wheel's" trial. Hopefully I can raise NYL from the dead on Sunday morning and we'll be there.

I have just come back from the YMSA three day and this was my first visit but it will not be my last, what a great event three days of riding against some of the hardest sections i have ever done. The weather was perfect for the three days, Saturday was a little hot at Milltown quarry with no shade any where, Bracken rocks was cooler and plenty of shade and you needed it with the sections a little harder than the first day, then it was a dash back to the Bed & Breakfast for a quick shower and change and taxi up to Dudwood farm for the entertainment that had been arranged for the evening. There was plenty to eat and drink on the Sunday night with music playing all nig…

My lad rode the Bemrose today and I observed and thoroughly enjoyed it too. The standard of riding on both sections I was involved with was unbelievable and one of the best rides of the day was Jonh Shirt Junior at the first section at Staden Quarry - a safety dab spoiled the smoothest ride of the day. It was a good day out, however the Police were out in force and stopped a number of bikes, including a rider who was not only not in possession of a valid insurance certificate, but the bike was not registered and he only had a licence to drive a car and not a bike. As I understand it the only reason the bike was not confiscated was because the Police could not arrange rec…

Same with the Mick Andrews Training day. Venue opens 9.30am Easy / Beginner trial starts 11.00am. Mick Andrews Training day can all people already entere…
