Just got back and wanted to say a big thanks to the Club/Observers and everyone involved in the Trial today. Cant beleive I have never rode there before or even heard of the place untill recently, 140 mile round trip was worth every metre of the travelling. The site is quite large and reminded me of Hawksnest in places, biggish step/boulders all very grippy even though it tonked it down all day and the ground stays grippy and doesnt carry up onto the rocks. Nice mixture of sections including logs, steps, big rocks, stream and slippy banks, the course setters did a brilliant job setting out considering what happened when the skies opened this morning. Parking is the best…

Thanks to everyone involved today and observers, great trial and good sections throughout, only a couple of Geoff Capes ones but all ridable. Held at Saintbury Quarry which runs a group for the Colmore National as well, nice and grippy for a change and met Pete aka Scorpa3 on here, hes running a trial there on the 29th this month (Stratford on Avon MCC) Pretty sure Steve Workman won it on the Honda and may have only dropped one or two all day and I dont think I worried him in the slightest. Little surprised to see how quickly most of the clubman completed the trial, I had done the first lap and many had finished all four? did nt think I was too slow and finished in plen…

Anyone else ride Manchester 17 MCC's Fisher trial today? Two laps of twenty sections between Hawks Nest and Manor Steps and a bacon and egg butty to start the day courtesy of the butty van and the club even sorted the weather!! Another well organised event by the club and a good mix of sections on the clubman route, can't comment on the harder route but everyone I spoke to said the same. Eiger

WOW..what an amazing two days I've just had with Llanfyllin DMCC. They sure know how to put on a good trial. Todays event (Forest Trophy Trial) was just fantastic. A HUGE thank you to all off you that helped organise it ,and especially to the observers who put up with awfull weather all day. I can't wait for next year now!

Bit late getting them on here so apologies. I took on the entries this year, and sorting the results out, and with the fun trial on the Monday too, I was under pressure a bit. Well, Sagar did me over this year and managed to clean the whole damned thing, although he nearly had a dab on my section, one of the easiest of the trial, while he was showboating Well done to him. I've been looking at the results generally, and maybe with the weather being so good it turned out slightly easier than usual for some classes. Notably the over 40's are right up there on the yellow route. Maybe we need yet another class - Over 40 Inters :-) Well probably not, we've already got 15 cla…
