The recent signing of Toni Bou to Honda has upset the applecart a bit and coupled with the fact that those Gas Gas financial rumours just will not go away, it seems Fajardo is off to replace him at Beta. Now Farjado is a good rider, but I can't see him breaking into the worlds top 5. Honda once again have 3 of the 5 top riders in the world, they have been powerful in previous years with the 2-strokes but the 4-stroke campaign has stepped it up a gear to the point where their budget probably exceeds the rest of the paddock's put together. Given that a trials rider's wage & the bike development is so small compared to funding an F1 & MotoGP effort, Honda just see…

Ashwicke classic trial. A massive thankyou to Jon Cull and all that supported him in laying on a most fantastic classic trial today. The trial catered for all abilities and the experience of the course plotters shone through with some really creative sections. Best of all the proceeds all went to charity! Thanks again Jon and the team for memorable and thoroughly enjoyable day.

Middlesbrough DMC got the good news from the new owner of 'lordstones' Carlton Bank N.Yorks that they can use the land this year. The club had resigned themselves it would not happen this year, but thankfully the club oficials have pulled it off. May 5/6 Clubman 2 day. Clubman A&B & youth (no D class) - Sections will be dual route, and despite the short notice the eager club team are hopefully going to 'extend' one of the gullies, both above and below what was used previously. Those that rode last year will be welcome to know that the hill climb will be back also. Its a great clubman venue & an enjoyable ride round too. Sat starts at 2.30 & Sunday 11am…

Regs are available HEREfor the SACU adult/Clubman championship round at Lumsden near huntly. The Bon Accord Motorcycle Club are 50 this year and holding a club round the day before on the same ground followed by a BBQ (bring your own food and drink) and camp-over. Everyone is welcome to the BBQ and camp and can ride the club trial with valid membership of the BAMCC. I'm not sure if a day membership will be available but if the SACU are happy then I see no problems. I'll find out and update this post once I know. This is a great venue for both a club and national trials. Last year saw Gary McDonald clean the whole thing as it was set up expecting rain which never came.…

The Bon Accord Motorcycle Club are running a round of the SACU youth, pre 65, twinshock and over 40s championships on the 1st of April 2007 at Craiglash west of Banchory on bonny royal deeside. (Not far from Andy's true home). This is a fairly new venue that the club thinks a lot of. It gives a good lap with a great mix of section types but no burns I'm afraid. If you haven't ridden here before you should try and make it if you have you'll know to come back. The regs and entry form are available on the calander page of TC or from www.bamcc.co.uk.
