The Clubs not been running long and the Venue was new but a great trial! Parking proved to be a problem as a lot of riders turned out but the event was well run and had the novelty of taped sections(a la "World and National" trials), this is a great idea and hopefully they can keep it up. The sections were in a wood with a small dry valley. This is a quick run thru of the "club" sections. Section 1 was a twist in and out of a small gulley with some small "bombholes" and humps to make it interesting before finishing by riding along the gulley and then up and out thru the exit gates. Two was a ride down in to a small valley then back up the bank across the top avoiding a …

Anyone know what you can ride in the Miller rounds or is it left down to the orginising club to decide? I rode one of these excellent trials earlier in the year on a Fantic after being told by the man himself that they allowed 'Italian t/s' to ride but was excluded from the final results due to machine un-eligibility by the orginising club. But i notice in the Greensmiths results that there are SWM's, Majestys, etc all getting results? I would have liked to ride this event but am confused as to where i stand with my 'Italian' bike.

Just had an email from James Lamin. The Welsh Championship at Neath on 30th Oct - 10.30 start (not as possibly advertised elsewhere), but remember to adjust your clocks the night before. Prompt start to avoid the slight time problems of last year (for some). My totally unbiassed opinion - this was one of the best rounds of last year, run on the same land as the St Davids. Open to allcomers, not just the Welsh (and plastic Yorkshire Welshmen like myself and Lamin). I don't want to steal the thunder from their site if they have one down there, so please anybody fill us in if the details are online somewhere. Otherwise, I'll put any more info I get on here by the end o…

While i agree that (all) B championship events should be run to the same rules as the World championship, there is one small problem. If you let riders stop in the sections, you need a time limit. This in turn needs one or two people to do this, now bearing in mind how hard it is to get observers in this country, how would we get time keepers for every section? At the British GP there was about 5 to a section, now if we could manage that at every B championship trial great, but in reality you won't . Untill the ACU or someone gets off it's ass and employs someone to promote trials in the media and the public eye, we will never get the mass interest in our sport that it …

Hi Decided to dust of my trials bike and get it dirty ! Has not been used for quite a while. I was looking to get some bits a pieces but I cannot find the phone number of the shop I used to use Active Bike Sports in Yeovil. Does it still exist ? If not does anyone have any recommendation for a shop in the Dorset area ? Many thanks.
