Is it just me or are trials getting to hard again???? In the late 80s early 90s trials started getting stupid ,bouncing and backing up ,wich is fine if you are a tenager and go practicing two or three times a week ,but a lot of us normal guys only ride at trials ,alot have nowhere to go even if they had the time to , anyway in those days my local clubs went from 60+ entries to barley 20 . Are we in danger of doing it again ,I rode today in the clubman class and the magority of sections required a bounce or hop,I cant do that am i just to old or is my entry money no good/not wanted. at least i can still keep up at the pub

.....which ones best? Hello all. I'm on the hunt for a trial bike and I've come across a couple of gems I'd like your opinions on if possible. Now I know there are countless "which bike is best" threads, but as this is specific I thought it might warrant a post. First up is a Scorpa SY250, 2007 model that is road registered. Pretty good condition except for a few scratches to the plastics. Recent service and has carbon covers and renthal fat bars. This one is about 90min from me and is up for

We rode in the very last trial to be held at the Old Mine at Kinlet today and what a sad occasion that was. I have no idea how many years the Midland Centre has been holding trials at Kinlet, but I first went there in 1982. For those who have ridden there, the venue needs no explanation but for anyone who never made the journey to Kinlet it is typical Midland 'going' whilst being unique at the same time. Wet muddy climbs and 'off-cambered' tree roots are the order of the day. Kinlet offers, or I should now say offered, unexpected levels of steep elevation. The steep wooded banks of the old mine workings rising out of the rocky river bed; a course setters delight…

The Jack Wood trial is a trial where a later riding number is of some advantage. Of the last 20 riders, numbers 136 to 156 inclusive, 18 of the bikes were of one make. This clustering occurred nowhere else in the entry by a large margin. Included in the 18 bikes were the team manager and team mechanic respectively together with their sponsored riders. The particular make of bike is popular in South Yorkshire so one could make too much of this grouping. However it does look rather odd from an outsiders point of view, especially one who prays towards Harrogate!

I am looking for somewhere to practice and I'm told that Hawk's nest off the Leek/Buxton road is somewhere you can use. What's the best way to go about using this place. Is there a phone number to ring or do you just turn up and pay? Cheers, Glenn.

The bike has no bashguard or side panels and there are no decals on the back mudguard or front. The clutch is needing bled and it has no gear oil in it. It was stolen from the south of glasgow. If anyone could give me any info or where it is or if its being sold please let me know. Thanks.
