Hi, Here goes, I have never seen any trials apart from the pro stuff on tv and youtube. The thing is, I don't know if I have any ability to go and join in a trial, if so, what level/experience? Ive put up a video of me on the area near my work, but its more sort of moto X/Enduro. Anyway honest feedback and if so, places to join in. wakefield or Wiltshire/Hampshire. thanks, Paul Video link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iW2mP13dxuY

  5. Does anybody know which clubs run anything to about the standard of the Manchester 17 dead easy route down south, I've possibly got the time to be able to get out on a bike and compete again but its been about 9 years since I've ridden, so i'm going to be more than a bit rusty... I'am hoping to head over to the old quarry at Dorking for some much needed practice on my 'new' modern bike so if you're there and see someone fiving everything they attempt on a 1992 Montesa Cota 311 feel free to say hello and have a good laugh Thanks Giles

  6. Hi guys, just wondering if any clubs in or around the midlands do a class for our 4 year old on his oset 12.5? We want him to have a go but all the official oset club events seem to be miles away like Cornwall, Kent and Yorkshire? We were going to go and watch one this weekend to get a feel for what goes on as we know nothing about trials but the closest one we can find is 2 hours away. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, Aidan

Hi Guys and Girls, I've been riding on the roads for quite a while now, but have never done much (read: any) off road riding. My father and grandfather were big into their bikes back in the day (my grandfather won the International Six Day Trials back in 1950), and I've always been interested in getting into trials myself. My old man still has his old (pre '65) bike (BSA B40 (ish)), and I'd love to give it a go. The problem is, I have NO idea how to get into the sport. I don't really want to turn up to a competition after having never ridden off road, so where would I go to practice etc.? I live in Swansea (South Wales) but the bike is kept up in Blaenau Gwent (also…

Anyone know of anywhere that'll be able to set a bikes suspension up to a particular riding style and rider weight and generally set up a bike properly, preferably somewhere in the South West/Midlands? Had trials bikes for a few years now but never really got the hang of fine tuning a bike to be spot on. All of my bikes so far have been set up by me and have been pretty reliable and work OK, but I'm no expert and generally just function on common sense so my bikes seem to be lacking that little extra touch of a pro. My suspension always seems to be under serviced and a bit soft and sloppy as I know sod all about it, and although my engines have always started on second …

Just received news that this round is cancelled, lack of entries. Considering it was to have been a Westmoreland round in Kendal and having booked accommodation etc. for the weekend cant say I'm best pleased! Looks as if its National Trust properties with the other half on Sunday while we are up from the South Coast.
