Having recently ridden the hafran rally and in my mind an incredible event with amazing scenery and a fantastic way to spend a day. I thought I'd put it to the TC community to suggest amazing must do trials. Rate them on variation of terrain and scenery along with the nature of the event.

Due to a combination of circumstances which have conspired against us the Peak Trial scheduled for 6th October 2013 and the final round of the Luscombe Suzuki Leeds Sidecar Championship has been cancelled. The limited number entries so far received will be refunded in full.

Hi I am trying to set up a trial on a piece of Forestry Commision land. It has been used in the past but at least ten years ago. Can someone who has had dealings with them, please let me know. Is there a formal application process? If so who to? Do they impose any particular conditions on the event? Any other help or advise would be appreciated. Thanks nick

Just wanted to thank Mick Marshall and team for laying out a great trial yesterday at Steep Marsh, even though they were then not able to be there themselves to enjoy it. It was appreciated and everyone I spoke to enjoyed it. Thanks guys for putting something back into the sport. Even the heavy downpour just after the start didn't affect things too badly, although it did 'cool' down the poor observers! Section severity looked pretty good for all routes too, although I didn't have to try the whites! Thats experience for you...

Was just hoping if anyone knew whats best for my bike such as: 1. What's best ratio for the oil to petrol 2. What's the best gear oil to use and how often to change it Replays would be greatly appreciated cheers.

1st time ive whinged about a trial as ive marked them out in the past and know its a thankless and time consuming job but todays beginners trial was a joke. I even phoned to ask before making the 2 hr trip if it would be suitable for a 1st timer (my son) as its taken me 10 yrs to get him interested and after 1 lap struggling on it looks like he`ll never go again. The 1st two sections were ok but then it started getting silly. Im not hiding behind a computer to make this comment its just I thought it best to wait until id calmed down a bit incase I upset anyone. I just wanted to make a point and I know I wasnt the only one who had problems as there seemed to be quite a f…
