hi dose any one no what gaernes warranty is on they boots as iv only had them just over six months and the stitching has failed around the sole has any one else had this trouble with them

Narrowly missed a nasty injury last Saturday when a length of tree trunk which had been chopped down and left by the side of a section , pinned me firmly to the foot rest and frame . Couldn't move and it stopped me dead . Length of wood pierced my boot leaving a 2" wide hole and matching bruise . My boots are 1 year old so anyone out there know who can repair them ? Local cobbler say's the leathers to thick for his machine to sew. Thought of having a crack myself but decided against it .

Am completing some university work about trials and need a credible source to reference. I thought the acu site had an explanation of what trials is but I can't seem to find anything (maybe since they altered the website). FIM site doesn't seem to have anything either. Does anyone have any ideas? (books or sites other than wikipedia)

whos doing the john-hardaker-national trial? Also is it a road trial?

Well , been threatening myself with going up a class from beginner to novice . Did it today at Frodsham trials clubs Mouldsworth Sand quarry trial . Coops and i toddled off and started off at our appropriate section markers . When we worked out what was what , off i went . 2s and 3s on round one and a heap of fives in round two . The horticulture came in on round four . Cleaned section five on lap three . So went a bit ball,s out up the sandy climb which had a sheet of rock thrown in for a bit of fun , oh yes the tree . Hit it , dragged a long large limb down , tried in vain to clear the leafy bits from my vision, then it grabbed me and tossed me side ways down a …

Hi everyone.... Ive not ridden properly since 2006. Had a few bikes since then and not had one for about 2 years!! IE had a few montesas but never did a trail since 2006!!! Now I have the bug again to do events, not just to mess about!! Was thinking a gas gas or a sherco? As I used to always have the bomb proof montesa 315r as they always seemed ride ok, and never had a problem with them!! Now I am 32 years old and not quite as fit as I was and a basic clubmans level....Was wondering if all of you up to date people could help me decide what bike i should get? I was thinking a 200 gas gas or sherco to get back into it, as ive heard some people prefer the 200 as they are …

Here they come with another excuse . It looks like nothing from the onset until you sit back and think . Just done a trial in the south lake district . On speaking to the club secretary he told me they have just lost part of their land under the ruse of SSSI ( site of special scientific interest ) , land that has had cow sheet spread over it by the same farmer for 40years . Think the clubs been on there since 1927 under one name or another and walkers have been going there for donkeys years , you get the picture don't you . Hi all,i am new to the site and need some advice please.Currently i do some green laneing and would like to join a club and do some trials bike riding. So i,m thinking of getting a trials bike,fitting a long ride seat/tank unit to use one bike for both activities.Has anyone experience of the long ride kits and using a trials bike for green laneing.I realise i would have to take off the long ride kit for trials riding
