Hey guys and girls. Just interested in people that live down in the Cornwall area. As I live St Austell/Truro area and would like to know if theres any riders nearby. As I'm limited on people to ride with. Be cool to get to know a few more riders and get out and about.?

..does anyone have a contact for Chris Carter in Derby? Chris was a journalist and broadcaster on all things biking right back from the 60's.. I heard him this morning on a Radio Derby phone in show talking about people who save loads of old stuff.. It seems that like myself he has boxes of Motorcycle News going back to the 50's! If anyone could pm with me with his contact email or number I would be grateful..thanks in anticipation.

  5. At our Stourbridge trial on Saturday only 14 riders turned up, even allowing for the current economic climate etc this was a very disappointing turn out I know there was a centre trial on the Sunday but i understand earlier in the week only 16 riders had entered for this event While we understand that we will probably never see the return to our 40-50 rider average entry there must be something we can do to increase our entries to something near a breakeven figure. The next Stourbridge trial will be late April early May at Hanley Childe and those of you who know how good the venue is will also know how much work is needed to put a trial on there. In an effort to inc…

A very scary drive to get to the trial along the A68 it was one big snow drift, so well done to the club for getting the trial on here are the pics from today, sections 1 and 2 https://plus.google....925580753137361

The weather has forced the Eric Ridley to be cancelled for a 3rd time. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Obviously as a Scot the subject of money is very dear to my heart. And as a keen trials organiser and rider I am well aware of the weather playing havok with us. What I'm wondering is with the decreased income due to these cancellations is it likely that costs will rise especially insurances to cover shortfalls? I'm not suggesting anyone makes much money from events but I imagine someone will be losing out.

hi im after a trials bike like a beta evo 125. there is many more i would consider just using that as an example. what realistically would the top speed be of a bike like this? im 22 just under 6' and very thin so i dont weigh alot. the reason im asking is if i can avoid it i dont want to have to get a trailer to get to events. if i registered it with the dvla, mot, insurance etc would it be ok to ride on the road? i.e. not too slow i would be a hazard to myself. 125 is the only option because i dont have a motorbike licence. hope someone can help i have been googling for a while but not much has come up. cheers tom

Hi guys. Was out practising yesterday , I rod off a small ledge and I heard a nasty sound when I landed , stopped to investigate and found I had fluid all over my rear tyre , my rear shock had died ... Gutted . Does anyone know any where I would get it rebuilt etc ? In from Bedfordshire and the bike is a 2005 beta rev 3. Cheers guys.

Hi, Hope this is the right forum to post this. I have recently started wheel building as a side line to my small garage business, I am still practising and have not as yet felt ready to take on paying jobs, I have done a couple for friends. This is a dying art and I am very keen to become a skilled wheel builder, my question is does anyone here know of companies or schools that run courses to anyone willing to pay. I am based in the north west of England, Merseyside, but willing to travel. Thanks

  17. I went to the recent Winsford Trial held at the Frodsham at the Alvanley Trials Ground and took quite a lot of photo's with my SLR. It was a nice sunny day so got some pretty good action shots and I'm happy to give them to the club/riders. However I can't find a Winsford club website to offer them the photo's. anyone got a link or club contact e-mail address. The Cheshire & North Wales Centre site lists the Trial results but no contact details.
