Any one got any thoughts on changing premix from full to semi and back again without causing any engine problems? Is full synthetic really as good compared to a good quality semi in the wet conditions we ride in?

Can any of the older bike folk remember the name of the bike shop just down from the dancing hall near the fire station, i google mapped it and it looks like its an empty building now. Might have just been dunfermline motorcycles but cant remember now. Any idea why it closed and when also appreciated. I noticed county motors has also gone, although it seems its repairing motor vehicles under another name. I moved away in the 70s and a bit disapointed when I returned last year for a visit to see them gone. In those days there also used to be a guy called wullie pitbladdow who kept most of the parts for the british bikes but he is gone now also and new houses built there

Just wanted to say what a top club it is, with a superb friendly gang of people as well as some great trials and venues!!... If anyone is looking for somewhere to ride / join then this is a great place to start. But more importantly thanks to all who tried to help me get my Gasser going yesterday, when it died before the start, and especially to Graham (with his busted foot and all that metal) who spent an hour on one leg fixing it before finally getting it running!! Even managed to rush round and get finished on time (even if it meant a few more marks than I'd have hoped for). Not many sports or parts of life where you get so many top people in one place and all keen a…

Bewdley MCC – Vic Brittain Trophy Trial 27th January 2013 It's been a hard decision to make but with regret Bewdley MCC have cancelled this Sunday's Vic Brittain for safety reasons beyond our control. Snow and ice have played a major part in the cancelation of the trial with more forecast up until the weekend. All entry fees will be destroyed. Once again we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Regretfully we have to announce tomorrow's Sidcup Sixty Trial has been cancelled. Whilst the snow is not too bad at Swanley at the moment the forecast for tomorrow is for heavy snow allday and we felt it would not be fair to ask observers to stand out allday in those sort of conditions. No doubt it would be difficult to find out where the sections are as well !! Not sure just yet if we will be running on another date - we have a busy schedule coming up and it will be for the Committee to decide at their meeting tomorrow night. Please share this so that we can get the word out quickly. Thanks everyone - Jamie Clarke (aka rabie) CofC - Sidcup & DMCC Photo : Taking d…

The Knill trial due to run tomorrow has been postponed due to deep snow making the roads there inaccessible. There were nearly 130 entries with more on the day so it will hopefully be re-run.
