Hi Just received my number through for this years trial and upon reading the information sent to me it says that each day the trial starts from the daily venues which are not the start field. Does this mean that on a morning we have to drive to the start field listed in our vans instead of setting off on bikes from the start field as we did last year? Cheers Beta729

Hi. This was my first proper trial with markers etc. Found it quite challenging if I'm honest as its a whole different world from just riding random sections. Just wondering if anyone knows where the results are for it? Can't seem to find them anywhere.

Today, the Yorkshire Centre staged the Youth and Girls intercentre Team Trial held at the Parkwood Offroad Centre, Tong. Results attached. It was a close battle between Yorkshire and East Yorkshire for the honours with riders Dan Peace, Jack Peace, Michael Todd, Zac Collinson & Oliva Kendra eventually taking the win by only 2 points. Third place was fought out between the Midland centre and South Western with only one point separating them. The girls again from East Yorkshire and Yorkshire Centres fought for top honours with the East Yorkshire team of Nikita Smith, Beth Waite and Louise Alford taking the win. Congratulations to all those taking part in what was a …

Hello to those of you reading this . Got to say i actually learned a few things , and enjoyed the day . The setting was great . A stream running through a big gully with land drains feeding it ,really grass covered slippery slopes , stones ,mud and dead trees , bankings , you get the picture . Plenty of banter and some fierce concentration , good time had by all (see pictures). Instruction was excellent as was the regard for peoples safety and the instructors . At the de brief , a quick word from Kev from GASGAS uk about bike maintenance . For me , and take note , some excellent advice . He said ,"if you have a problem ,fix it because if you have an avoidable bre…

I read with interest the the ACU are to blame for insisting that the organisers have been asked to change the published start order for this event. The rules are perfectly clear in the book. That is straight forward enough but when you take into account that the ACU Trials and Enduro Committee introduced this rule at the request of these same organisers then it defies logic that they can blame anyone but themselves.

I thought I would give it a day or two to see if anyone else posted on this. Firstly I would like to make it clear that in NO WAY is this post intended as a criticism of observers. During the day I probably saw about 300 rides through sections. On 4 of those occasions I would have awarded different marks to those given by the observer and had my marks counted there would have been a change of order within the top 5. 4/300 is 1.3% ie even if I was right on those 4 occasions the observer(s) were right 98.7% of the time - not bad for UNPAID VOLUNTEERS. Despite this high level of accuracy I saw 4 instances (not the same 4 as above) of observers being sworn at (F and B words…
