bought a fantic 3 years ago for my boys, had good fun teaching them to ride there first bike. now its stored in our shed, but i want to know what kind of fantic it is. it says fm350 on most of the plastics and engin.?

After reading in the Classic trials press, the Pre 65 Scotish allows tubless type tyres to be used with a tube in their regulations....but not without. Could someone enlighten me with the logic behind this and also do tubless tyres run without a tube... offer any proven advantage and if so what. Thanks

I am a new trials rider, but I have been riding a long time off road. I need to get some rear shocks for a 86 TLR200 I just restored. I am about 220# and bottom the current set up. I want to hear form the guys have replaced their shocks already. Thanks Tom in MA.

Lately there is some controversy because of a new rule in italy that accepts doing a loop inside the sections and crossing its own track. FIM has a rule that says it is a 5 if: - "The motorcycle does a complete loop, crossing its own track with both wheels. And in the Spanish RFME there is one much similar that says it is a 5 if: - "The motorcycle does a complete loop, crossing its own track with any of the wheels". While in the ACU the rule for a five is: - Travelling in a forward direction against the direction of the section". Both in TRS22A Stop and TRS22B Non-stop. I've been building a 350 Matchless springer from roadster parts that i've gathered up over the years, but have been looking at swapping out the frame for one made by Progressive Classic Products. Have any of you tried these or know of any that are in use? it looks to meet the current Scottish rules, but would need to work for the rest of the year as well!

Hi folks, presently using an old cub, but would like to build up a lightweight James. I know there are frames, hubs, forks etc being made or available out there, but don't know where to start looking. Can any of you point me in the right direction for the components?? Just thought I would add our OSSA to this thread, 6 month ago My Son Scott and myself started to restore an OSSA TR 350, we finished it just this week. Has anyone had any experience with one of these badboys,got one today and fitted to the Bantam(don't laugh) didn't notice much difference.I tried it in all 3 positions no difference.My friend fitted one to his James and noticed a vast improvement,making the clutch lighter.What is the lightest position of the 3 holes?Thought it was a good idea but may have to mod. the clutch arm instead and reposition the cable . cheers the noo Brian

Hi. I'm new to Trials Central & usually ride enduros on my FE 400 Berg but..... I've got a nice little Triumph 3TA which is running a 21" front wheel with a trials tyre. However the last owner did nothing to the forks. This means when I ride over speed humps or go trail riding the front mudguard fouls on the frame down tube. It's hitting hard enough that the mudguard then rubs on the front tyre and has been dented. I know that I could put a spacer inside the forks to increase pre-load, and maybe I can use thicker fork oil, but I don't think this will be enough. So I need help. Is there anywhere to get longer after-market stantions, or is there another Triumph that…

Hi, There are some ignition kits available on the market. I would like to choose one of those for my BSA B40 Trials version, which is under construction. This will be the real thing with specially designed light oif frame, alloy hubs, lightened engine, etc. Has somebody any experiences which one PVL or Rex Caunt or Electrexworld or some other is a good choice ? Hi there I am new to trials and I'm going to build a bantam to compete with.One of the problems I have encountered is lack of information about the humble bantam.My main problem is what forks to use,I want to run it in Pre 65's in Scotland(not the 2 day) but would like to know if I could use trail bike forks and yokes(XL,TS) or does it have to be std. or period. cheers Brian
