OK so I got to thinking again. Dangerous I know but I'm bored with circuit theory at the moment so I figured I'd try to understand what the big whoop is with a diaphragm clutch since I haven't seen anyone explain the difference. This is my take on it. Feel free to shoot it full of holes and call me an idiot. The diaphragm clutch.pdf

I have a 2016 Beta 250cc Evo Factory. Intermittent fault with the fan; The fans comes on as it should but when you rev the bike it stops! you need to push by hand to restart the fan, sometimes it will come on by itself. I have bypassed the thermostat but this does not make any difference the fan still stops when revved! Does anybody have any ideas what the issue is could it be? The wiring looks good I cannot see anything loose.

My vent hose from my tank seems to leak really often. Doing any riding it’s been pouring over my bike. I’ve tried routing it different ways to stop it with no luck. Is something broken?

Hi all, as the title says, I am the proud owner of a 2022 Beta Alp 200. So far I am loving the bike, having been in half a dozen rides and around 350 miles of green laning here in Cornwall, UK. I am however, struggling to find parts and accesories for the bike. Currently I am after a rear rack, but cannot find any stock available online or at the dealer I purchased the bike from. Can anyone help with recommendations at all? Many thanks in advance!

I posted this in the General Forum, but thought I might link it in here as it is also specific to Beta. I had a complete failure of a recently installed All-Balls linkage kit in my Evo. Originally I thought it was due to poor quality bearings however I'm now left wondering if installation tools and technique wasn't at least partly to blame.

Hi, I've spent the last few weeks restoring an old beta Tr32. I’ve got the bike going but there’s a couple of issues so I’m looking for some advice. The main issue is that the clutch will not engage/disengage very well. There seems to be no order in which the gears shift and It’s very hard to find nutral. Somehow you can change gear without pulling the clutch lever and sometimes I cannot get the bike out of gear once it’s going! the other major issue is that sometimes the throttle seems to get stuck and the bike revs like crazy. any advice on what may be causing these issues would be much appreciated.

Ok, I’m sure someone has already asked and I can’t find a way to find to find without trawling through 300 of q & a’s. Please: how much oil in each leg and grade? Are they adjustable for spring and rebound?? Cheers

I am working on a Beta REV 80 for my buddy and am having some issues I would love insight on. The first thing that I am struggling with is the clutch master cylinder, no amount of bleeding creates any pressure in the slave cylinder so the clutch never disengages. I am assuming I need a new clutch master cylinder but can't find a factory one so my question is will a generic one work? Has anyone else had to go with a generic one? I guess the slave cylinder could be the issue but the master doesn't do anything when pumped so that's why I am starting there. The second thing I am having issues with is the carb, I have rebuilt the carb twice and both times the b…

I’m noodling around with potentially switching my 2021 4RT to a new 2022 Evo Factory 200. Only ride 1-2 times a month in club trials. What I love about the Montesa is the reliability, build quality, ease (except oil filter change…) of routine maintenance and (of course) the sound at full bore. And hard to stall in sections at 1800rpm tickover. The other big (big) selling point is the resale on the 4RT. I had my last one for 5 years and literally sold it for £1500 less than I paid for it new. The weight doesn’t bother me either as it’s really planted and I’m not bouncing the thing around or anything!! Onto the Beta. I love the look and style. But will it dis…

What probably follows is rant on repairability of stuff in general .... Beta Evo 80 jr 2017 - clutch master cylinder with slave cylinder failed. Dirt got in, chewed hefty portion of master cylinder piston gasket and then continued to chew the green gasket on slave cylinder. Two things to order: As slave cylinder was ok (with scratches, but ok) so only thing to replace is piston gasket. A very specific O-ring. O-ring is not available separately, so whole slave cylinder has to be ordered. 30-40€ smth like that. Fine, but still a pity that I couldn't order a O-ring only. Now Master Cylinder piston replacement kit is actually available in the parts list. But …

Cheerio, Bought a 2010 Beta 80 for little money, in a shabby condition. It's been restored with much TLC to it's former glory, including freshly painted frame, all new bearings, new clutch, new small end, chain set, replaced ton's of broken parts, and fresh plastic body parts all around. Last bits and pieces, and I'm finished, and my 10yo can finally make the transition from his Oset 20". BUT. Last evening I kept searching for the correct mounting point for the rectifier, but wasn't able to find one. Anybody that can point me in the right direction? Greatly appreciated! Yours truly, Vincent

Having an issue with my 14 evo. Seems to run good if i rev it up a bunch and clean it out. But I’ll idle around and run it in the low rpm’s and it just runs extremely blubbery up top. Like when the bikes just been started and try to give it a bunch of throttle. I’ve gone one down on the main. I’m in the top clip. Air screw is out. Cleaned the air filter 2x I’ve sort of tried running it with the air filter out but I’ll have to test it better than just my parkade. Any other reason I could be having this issue or is this just normal?
