Hi All, A friend of mine has just bought and 02 Beta Rev3. And I'm giving him a hand fixing it up. Sorry, I'm an 06 Sherco rider myself. And I previously had and 02 Sherco. First question. I need to replace the folk seals on the Pailoi folks. I have a new set of seals from when I had my 02 Sherco. Will these seals fit the Beta?...The tube diameters looks the same but I haven't taken them apart yet. Second question. I have downloaded the Rev3 maintenance manual from the Beta website. But it seems to cover (in Italian) all years. Are the maintenance specs really all the same across all Rev3's? Can someone please point me in the direction of an 02 maintenance manual or…

Hi guys, Investigating my brake binding issue on my Rev 3 and spotted these tin covers on my front calliper, my rear calliper doesn’t have them. Are the tin covers fitted correctly, really necessary and what is there purpose?

Hi All. I got my self a 02 Beta Rev 3 250 which has got previous owner syndrome! Can anyone help me by either explaining or showing me where the coil and other wiring should be located, I’m almost certain this isn’t located here for performance enhancing reasons!

  5. Well, I did the unimaginable.... yep, I rode a newer bike. (we all make mistakes). My Dad got an 11 beta evo, and it is SO nice. I ride int (USA), and I am not good enough to hop my front tire (At least I didn't think I was). I got on his bike and try it, and can actually hop pretty good! I can honestly say I would get way less points in trials, and with the wife if I bought an evo. So yesterday we tore my front end apart, cleaned her up, put 5wt back in per specs, (I weigh 170lb / 77kg / 12.5 stone) and I really hoped for a newish feeling front end. Nope, feels the same. :-( Feels soft, I can bottom it out off a small jump or hard wheelie landing, and has little spring…

Does anyone know the part number of the adjuster screw for an 02 front brake control. I looked at some other bikes and they appear to have a large threaded bit then another small set screw into that. I am tired of my lever hanging way forward. After market OK Name of manufacture of control for Beta OK Thanks Denny Crane

Hi Guys my mudguard on my Rev 3 is shot, it’s ok and serving a purpose but ideal I would like a replacement. After searching I realise that it’s going to be a long shot getting a proper one, but I emailed beta uk anyways.... I did read that later models plastic can be fitted if you swap out air box, my question is what age range of plastics are interchangeable and what other parts are needed to make them fit?

Just got my bike recovered from the police after being stolen and the wiring amongst other things has had a hard time. I seem to be missing a little bit and other bits have been cut. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated as there is currently no spark. This is what I've got, the fan, thermostat and kill switch have been cut so will need to add wiring in for them once I know where I'm wiring to.

My 02 Rev3 250 air filter fitup is not correct. I have installed a new Beta filter and i noticed that the bottom pleat of the filter is tight against the bottom of the airbox. I fear no air will pass through it only through the sides. I have pulled the filter tight so that it extends farter out beyond the clamp around the edges but i dont think it has lifted the bottom pleat off the bottom of the air box. My question? Is there a filter element that has shorter sides and allows for an air space between the airbox and the filter element?

Hello Does anyone know if rev3 mudguards are universal? I've had terrible problems finding replacement mudguards for my 02 rev3 which I'm trying to restore to as close to new as possible. I've resigned myself to going for a black theme and would Like to know if the black 06 ones would fit. I know the front have a different mudguard hangers and I think due to the fact that the newer ones can have spacers fitted to improve clearance on sticky days, I'll get some brackets made to accommodate this but the rear is really my main question. Has anyone tried to put newer the rear mudguards on an 02 please Many thanks.

Hi All, New to this game again after a long lay off, bought an 2002 270 Rev3, but am at a bit of a loss as it's obviously loads different than my Majesty and Fantic 240 were 11 years ago. My questions are: (sorry there's loads) 1) Do I need to fill the radiator up? Where do I fill it, how often and how much? 2) How often do I need to check the engine/clutch oil? where do I check them? What should I use and how much? 3) How often should I change the sprocket and chain, and fork seals, as I see this quite often on nearly new bikes!! but I don't know where to look for wear? 4) What petrol/oil mix should I be using? I've been told 35:1 by some places and up to 70:1 by o…

Hi, What are the steps for removing the waterpump/kickstart side case on an 03 270 Rev 3.? Can I leave the pump & hoses on and undo the case bolts and lift the whole cover off to check OR do I have to remove the pump etc first. Thanks. P.S. Good luck to all the SCOTT Trial entrants. I rode it in '82, '83 & '84 and still have great memories about it.

Anybody know a decent paint match for an 04 Beta frame/swinging arm. It's an 04 Beta Rev 50 if that makes any difference. Could do with a bit of a touch up.
