I've just broken the kickstart lever on my 2003 280 Pro and nearly fell off my chair when I was quoted over

anyone made any anchor points apart from the bars on the 05 gasser or any different places to wak the straps on? (the straps on mine when on run up the taper on the bars)

Did something rather stupid. In stead of reading this forum i just assumed that the clutch system of my new gasgas was the same as a hydraulic system of the ktm. Since Ktm uses hydraulic oil in their system i did the same with the gasgas after that i cleaned it. It worked rather nicely but i now realise that some rubbers cld get detoriate because of this oil type. Anyone have any experience in this field of mishaps? Do i need new rubbers from master till slave?

hi i just bought a 2002pro and the gearbox sounds a bit noisy in the first 3 gears is this normal ?.i want to change the gear oil i think it should be 10/40 is good engine oil ok to use if not can someone advise what spec oil i can use also what oil mix should i be using in the petrol thanks tris

somethings just never end like this bike rebuild of mine😫😫 ok here is my problem and really hope someone can help me with guidance. My rear wheel hub and spokes were replaced. When my axle is equal distance from the swingarm bolt the wheel pulls front left hitting the chain guide. So im thinking of 2 possible mistakes. 1. the new spoke come short and long is it possible they used the long spoke on short side and short spoke on long side? 2. the complete wheel is off and all spokes need to be loosened on one side and tightened on the other

Hi All, Long story short, I have a 2021 250 TXT Racing and a 2003 TXT 250 Edition so friends can come out to play now and then. Obviously the new bike is lighter and I understand the factory spec to be 64kg I have been unable to find any data on the Edition, which I understand was a discounted model using older engines before the launch of the new TXT range in 2003 Does anybody happen to know what it weighs, please? Happily, it is still competitive at entry level and starts first kick, which is more than can be said for the 2021 bike, unfortunately! Thanks and happy riding.

looking for some advice about my gasgas 2014 folks it seems when i lift up the front end of the bike off the floor it seems to have a 30mm gap from where the bike stands but its like a drop as if the spring needs to be wound up to take up the slack its a clunk sound not a smooth oil filled motion any ideas please

So the txt 280 pro is up and running, gets up to temperature fine and the fan kicks in like it should and seems to ride fine. I have noticed that the small breather pipe exiting the casing near the gear lever is slightly dripping oil, seems and smells like gearbox or atf oil. The pip is routed out by the bottom of the rear shock. Seems to drip only when revs are increase. Is this normal? Sorry I am just not that clued up with these little 2 strokes, gimme a Japanese 4 stroke 4 cyclinder race bike any day of the week 😂

On the new 07 Gas Gas models does the rear wheel hit the exhaust pipe? I have an 02 280 pro and I keep wearing holes in my pipe. I have bent the brackets back but it still hits and wears through. I am looking at getting a new bike soon. So any help on this would be great. Also I am not a small person. I am about 235lbs and 6ft 4' tall. So this could be the reason the tire hits as well. I did put a heavier spring on the 02. Thanks.

Hi, I've got a slight problem.... no mother not that, its about my bike! I stripped the suspension linkages down on my new GG TXT250 Edition 03, then went away for a week, bought the new bushes, and fitted 'em where they should go. So far so good. Now for re-assembly, HELP! The two triangular plates that fit to the bottom of the shock, two dogbones and swinging arm, are perplexing me. The distance between the top hat bushes on the swing arm mount where the triangle plates fit is 57mm, the spacer that sits below it on the second set of triangle plate holes/dogbone outers is 51mm which means that the triangular plates should have an offset of 3mm per side. 2005 200cc GG clutch is dragging. We have rebuilt the master cylinder, and replaced clutch as recommended by the dealer. No change, still drags like before. Don't understand, everything was fine then one day after about a half an hour of ridding it just started to drag. Now the bike wants to start walking away as soon as you put it in gear. Any ideas, please!!

hi everyone i am after some advice, recently purchased a 321 txt 2001 gas gas that has been left outside for a long time and i can start it, i have cleaned the carb and its all unblocked, put new fuel in and a new spark plug, iam getting a spark but it still wont start. any advice would be much appreciated

Hi guys, it was maintenance time, so replaced a few bearings inside the cases. Did everything as per instructions. Shrink the crank in the freezer, heating the rightside bearing to get it wider, dropping in the crank untill she bottomed. Putting the leftside case on, has a slip-on fit on all bearings, so no sweat there. Closing her up, with the bolts, nice and tidie. Everything turns and goes, great. Only thing is, the crank is not evenly centered between the cases. The rightside, where the primarygear sits, has more clearence between the cranksheek and case as the other side. Hi, I recently purchased an 05 GG 125 Pro. It creeps a fair bit when the clutch is in (it ocassionally does it on my Sherco 250 but not as extreme and as often as this) and i can only get it into neutral when it isn't running. You have to pull so hard then when it finally does click into neutal, you go past it and into the next gear. I have changed the box oil (10-30) to no avail. But now the kickstart doesn't spring back up and you have to pull it back up manually. What is likely to be up here and how much of a job is it to fix it? Thanks ever so much, Liam

hi im about to change my swingarm bearings and dog bone bearings and was wondering if anyone knows of a place where cheap bearings can be bought from and at what price? also does anyone know the correct swingarm bearing number?? thanks coxy

i had the shifter return spring break, and a couple other things that needed to be done, and now that the new spring is in the bike is stuck in first. i went to check and see how badly out of adjustment it was and it went in to first and now wont come out of first. am i looking at a problem in the gear box?

I broke the kick start gear in my '07 300 Pro, and am having a miserable time getting it back together. I found the technical bulletin about indexing (www.trialspartsusa.com/diagrams/Pro_Technical_Bulletin_June_8_2010.doc), and have the shaft itself back together. The problem is getting the shaft back into the cases. I have watched Jim Snell rotate the assembly one time counter clock wise (www.youtube.com/watch?v=A80n7zq80n8) and drop it in, but I can't do what he does; I keep getting the spring caught behind the whole assembly, which doesn't allow me to fit the shaft into the blind hole it's supposed to rotate in.
