Boujour à tous. Sur ma 250 txt de 2004 j'ai vu qu'il n'y avait pas de ressorts mais un "plateau" ressort . Je trouve qu'il est un peu dur. Existe t'il un plateau moins coriace ?. Merci.

I spent most of today riding my firs at trial bike, a new 2021 TXT 250. I spent part of the day pushing the bike back to civilization after the kickstarter broke at its “ankle” (at the shaft where it pivoted). Granted, I was kicking away restarting after a rest, but I am surprised by this failure. Are there stronger kickstarter levers than OEM or should I buy another OEM and be a bit more gentle?

Spoiler Evening all, was hoping someone might be able to shed a little light on a problem with my sons 125. Its a 2019 125 and after about 30 mins of running it runs rough and won't go. I have had the carb off stripped and cleaned it all a couple of times now with no improvement. I have replaced the seal on the bottom of the choke plunger also. It runs for about half an hour absolutely perfect then starts to struggle and run rough. Won't rev etc. If I take the plug out its all black and sutted up. I cleaned it off again today and it still wouldn't go. Last time it was out, it did the same thing and we put a fresh plug in it and it went a…

Just curious as to other people's thoughts. I am fortunate in owning both a 2021 Gas Gas TXT 250 Racing and a 2018 Beta Evo 300 2T for friends to use. I am a 60-yr old rider with strength issues following a minor stroke. To me, the Evo is very noticeably heavier tho' the internet puts the GG at 67kg and the Evo at 69kg. Although 2kg/ 4.4ibs is a considerable weight if you had to carry it around with you all day, to my mind the difference feels greater than that. Plus, the Vertigo Titanium is listed at 66kg. All that extra money for less than 1kg? Your having a laugh. So, is the difference I notice an illusion caused by frame geomentry and weight distri…

Hi everyone, I am in the need for some help regarding water pump for my recently purchased 2013 Gas Gas TXT 280cc Pro Factory Edition. Previous owner noticed some coolant mixing in the oil in the screen, so we purchased the water pump service kit. Apparently the problem was gone. Bike was in the workshop for two months, being working on it and getting some parts (I am located in Serbia, so it hard to get the parts here). Few days ago we managed to fix it completely, and just after we changed the coolant in the radiator, we did notice oil was mixed with the blue coolant again. Now I am again looking for parts to fix it. One solution is to get the service kit again, bu…

Hi Guys, Just picked up a 2021 TXT 250 (not GP) with tech ally forks and ohlins rear shock. I'm ~ 220lbs (100kg) in gear. I'm thinking I need to change the front and rear springs to suite my weight. What rates do I need?

I recently got a 2006 Gas Gas txt 300 pro. The manual says to check the gearbox oil by unscrewing the sightglass and using the dipstick. There's no way this can be correct. How do I go about checking this oil level?

Hello, I have my clutch pack at 9.74 mm for a 2009 Pro. From what I read the tolerance is 9.75 to 9.85. My finger height however is at 10.50 I find the clutch slips in 5th and 6th gear. The steel plates I have fitted are 1.5mm and 1.6 mm. What do people suggest, I don't want to make the clutch too heavy but obviously need to stop it slipping. The finger height seems to be quite out of range.... Thanks in advance. Gary

Hi Folks, I have a 2017 txt300. I'm trying to source a CDi unit (ET51100CT-CJD-1) and cannot source one anywhere. Gasgas are "waiting" for stock since last may! Is there an other options here or has anyone else in the same boat. I'm pretty sure that they are year/part no. sensitive as I have tested ones from different years and they don't run properly. it possible to repair. Any or all suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance, Kev.

I recently acquired this bike and one of the things I would like to do is to repack the exhaust. I have read many posts on the topic and I think I have a pretty good handle on the process. The one thing I'm not 100% sure of is getting into it. Do I simply remove the end cap and fill from there, or does it get filled from the pipe side? Sorry if this seems basic.
