ok, I haven't but hopefully the title will have caught the eye of Andy or one of the administrators. If so, I am still trying to contact the seller of the Bultaco advertised on 1 October in the classifieds. There is no phone number or email in the ad and I have no idea if the contact seller function is working. It seems to do nothing. Would one of you be kind enough to pass my email and mobile number to the seller as you will have their ID from the ad. If they still have the bike they can get in touch. Thank you dajwood@aol.com 07931 669549.

i have been working on this for a bit, but must knock on now so thought i would show a few bits i done.. As you can see, some of these i have not done them as well as i could, and the reason for this is the bike is going to be my first go at trials, so its going to get abused and on top of that i did't want a bike i would be scared to use. The bike is all there just needs bearings and a tidy up as well as a bit of welding and its on to the paint. Doing the forks at work in the next few days and will hopfuly put a pick up.. next is the swing are which i have removed the bearing and need to get new ones. then paint for that and the frame.. forgot to say the bike i…

Hi all, First posting so be gentle. been a long time since I went on a trials bike, had all sorts in between. First ever bike was a Montesa 50 - went from Kent to Devon on that, then an Ossa Mar - went everyday to college on that, then a King Scorpion (not a trials bike I know) then a mixture; 650 Kawasaki, RD500, 750Turbo, BMW around the world and ZRX everyday (nearly). Always wanted to get back onto a trials bike and always admired the Sherpa. Here's what I've just (unwittingly?) bought, this is what I think I have, what do you think I have? Bought as a 1973 92 model Engine number: m-9201750 Frame number: b-9201729 But - all the below look different from online re…

Hi Guys Can anyone help or advise with my non running sherpa 350 199***** It used to start up 4/5 kick and run ok. I was out on it at the weekend and it started to run rougth. I thought it was running out of petrol so went for res but made no diffrence. It then would not tick over and stalled three times on the way home finally giving up all together, and had to be recovered. I thought it felt like fuel starvation so stripped the carb, cleaned it and blew out with air compressor and re built. Still wont fire, tried bumping down hill and still wont go. New plug with a nice bright white spark but no joy. Have re stripped carb fitted with new slide as there was a very sma…

hi all just leting you all know i sorted the kick start return spring tanks for all your help cheers guys

  19. Started by cmc84,

Fitted my kickstart return spring today, and proceeded to start the bike. Fired up after a few kicks, but I kept hitting the footpeg with my heel despite trying a few locations for the kickstart lever. I've got it mounted so that it starts to turn the engine at 12 o'clock, but it seems to want to continue past the footpeg (at about 4 o'clock) down to almost vertically down. Is this normal? Are my feet just too big, or it it just my technique? Also, it seemed like when I was turning it over, I would get one good kick which was turning the engine, then one "quiet" kick - is it the case that I'm kicking it through the expansion part of the stroke every other kick?
