Hi all, I need advice about getting shims for the crankshaft on my Gripper 350. The bike had a nasty banging sound when I got it. After opening we found the crankshaft had to much movement (left to right) and the weight has been rubbing on the clutch side cover. We suspected worn mains and I have oppend up to change them. Now having dismateld I have found that one of the shims on the crank is so badly worn that its breaking up. On one side there are 2 shims and on the other there´s just one but I think this may be orig. as they did them individualy as far as I know. Anyone got an idea where I can get replacement shims from ?

Hi Guys I need to get the sleeve off the crank (clutch side) on my 350 Gripper. There´s a Puller "Ossa special tool" to do this, has any one seen one of these for sale or know where you can get them ? If no longer available does anyonee have experience with getting the sleeve off with other methods (theres no room to get a puller between the main bearing seal and the sleeve) ?

I think I'm the proud new owner of a 2015 TR 300i.... but it won't start sometimes. The bike came with a 9v battery. I was instructed to push the button prior to kicking. Didn't take long to realize the 9v doesn't activate the fuel pump so I put a little 12v in. Pump runs and logs 21 psi - max. Just kicking the bike I can get to 21 psi after 3 kicks. Right..... what's the pressure with the engine running ? Don't know - the barb off the fuel injector housing broke while I was carefully trying to disconnect the fuel line to check pressure. Two questions... Anyone know where I can get the replacement housing with the barb and 2). Has anyone defined a minimum amount o…

Hi, can anyone help me identify which rear hub I have my 350 Gripper. I thought it was original until I went to fit a new sprocket. The bolt holes don't line up on a Talon TR-222. The hub and original spocket have 6 bolt holes spaced as 3 pairs, the pcd is approx 150mm. The new Talon sprocket has the same centre hole of 130mm, the same layout of bolt holes but the pcd is approx 160mm. The only similar hub/sprocket I can find is a Montesa Cota but I dont the dimensions. If anyone has either of these lying around, and a spare five minutes to measure pcd and centre hole it would be much appreciated. Cheers, Gary

Hello good people. I bought my self a cheep defective Ossa. It is in a rather good shape, only inner head gasket is blown. After cranking it pops like a champagne when opening a radiator cap. Coolant that I have drained smells on gassoline. As I can see 4 side bolts will be the problem to torque with my Nm torque wrench because of a frame interference . Should I use some special tool , or release engine in front and pivot it a bit to make some clearance? One more thing. I read that inner oring is better to be silicone than NBR one, any oppinion on that? Many thanks !

I’m looking for a headlight reflector for my 78 VI Day. I’m not sure but I believe it was only used on the 78 black tank VI Day. I haven’t been able to find one anywhere. I’m hoping someone on this site knows of a source. Thanks

hi, we have a 1975 ossa 250 MAR . its nice and clean but we cant get it running. this is because the original amal carb is shot. needs a whole new carb. the current one is all scored and the float bowel does not join properly and you can see light between the gap. would like to get an after market one on it. just something that will make her run nicely. the ossa we have is where the carb bolts onto the cylinder and not into a rubber boot which some do.( apparantly this is rare?) it also has no choke and just a primer which pi****s fuel everywhere. please can someone point me in the right direction for a new one and where i can get it? many thanks!

Hello There, I'm quite new to trials and in fact motorcycles. I just got my new "used" 2011 Ossa Tr280i to finally start learning about it. I've just been a couple of hours on it and decided to give it a good clean from its previous owner... and the fun began; while taking off all the dirt and grease I found a couple of issues listed below,...that have not idea how's better to address... so any tips, suggestions and recommendations will be appreciated. 1. Crack in the muffler - close to where it connects to the exhaust (see pic) 2. No clip master link - I only know the chain says "Iris" on the links. What should I know to get a new clip master link?... how to order it…

I have an OSSA that has come from Italy. It was sold as a 250 , which I beleve it to be, but today at a trial it was pointed out that as I have cutout on my fins, that it may be a 350?? The engine no. Matches the frame no. But the number doesn't show up on any of the lists I have seen. Any info in aging the bike etc would be appreciated. Or even recommended upgrades, mods etc...

After replacing the rear suspension arms on my 2012 bike due to the main pin snapping, I ordered some new swinging arm bolts as the heads where a bit chewed up, I've just come to replace them and the have both shered off at the end of the threads. I've looked at the shocker and the spring is only hand tight can anymore tell me what the measurement of the spring should be with the shocker off the bike from the factory. Once I get that sorted and tightened up will i be ok to use the Alu swinging arm bolts I've just got or should I look for some steel replacements ?

Desperately seeking help to getting my 2013 Explorer 280i back up and running. BACKGROUND- while riding and slowly accelerating in 3rd gear bike abruptly losses power and stalls. Checked for spark- ok. Changed spark plug. Stlll no start. Disconnected fuel line and checked fuel flow-ok. So I know I had fuel and fuel pump pressure. So I had to get the bike towed out of the trail. CURRENT DIAGNOSIS- IGNITION- Strong spark visible. If I squirt some fuel into cylinder chamber and reinstall the spark plug, it fires up and runs strong until the fuel burns off so Im assuming the entire ignition circuit is working properly. FUEL PUMP- Pressure is 50 PSI static…
