Simple question on the rear brake assembly/chain tensioner. Can this be removed with the engine in or is it an engine out job?

New to the Ossa but after 1 trial on it enjoying it so far. Fitted with a Mk2 Amal Concentric but seems rich on the bottom end. Anyone have recommended jetting or alternative carb recommendations?

Could anyone give me any ideas where I can get spares for my bike. Currently nothing in particular, but seem to struggle to find bits.

As it say. I’ve wear in a 2011 linkage. Not stripped nothing yet but what are my options? Top tips on ripping it all apart? Can I use bearings instead of bushes? Am I likely to need pins etc? Do these parts even exist now? If worst comes to the worst, I might see if I can get all the parts re made and to use bearings and seals instead.

Need help with bleeding the rear brakes, i’ve been pumping and bleeding at the caliper for 30 minutes now, still no peddle, refilled the reservoir 3 times...no progress. I even tried to raising the front of the bike, pushing fluid, pulling fluid, still no progress. thanks Phil.

Hi Just seeing if anyone can tell me what grade or type of engine oil I should put in my Ossa TR77 Verde 250 1979. I’m fitting new clutch plates tomorrow that are coming from inmotion but just wanted to make sure on the oil before refill etc. I have tried to look in to this but it seems to be mixed reviews on what should be used.

Looking for tips and tricks for 2010-2015 Ossa TR’s. I just bought a 2015 TR250I and am in the process of going through it, replacing worn out parts. Thanks to a local parts supplier, so far it’s going pretty good. Biggest issue I’ve ran into was the silencer had a broken bolt stuck in the aluminum and a broken bracket on top for a clip type nut.

I found this place on-line and thought I'd post it up as a good source of Ossa spares: http://trialstribulations.net/index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=7 I got a little order today with a few spare parts only 11 days delivery from the UK to Australia. The order was really well packaged, good service. I am in no way affiliated with these guys, just a happy customer.

Some time ago I had to replace the wheel bearings of my KTM 990. In order to protect the bearing a Nilos-ring is used on the chain side of the wheel of the KTM. That triggered me to investigate the option to do a similar thing for the front wheel bearings of the Ossa TRi. Yesterday I installed a new set of bearings (SKF) and two Nilos-rings (SKF 61905 AV). Fits perfectly and should give additional bearing life. Wil report back in a year or so ( ) Copied from the SKF site: "Designed to keep dirt, dust, debris and other abrasive contaminants out of ball and roller bearings, all-metal NILOS-Rings help extend bearing uptime in the harshest operating environments and i…

I can't seem to find the info, so thought I'd ask. 2014 Factory 300. There are two maps- 1 and 2. What do the two positions do? Which is 'soft' and 'hard'? I see on some other maps they list which is which (or 'hard' and 'Road' etc), but the Factory one does not. Thanks Mark

Hello everyone. What is the current state of Ossa parts and part availability for used bikes, worldwide Especially in the U.S.??? As a bike dealer I ask this in regards to taking a 2014 300 In on trade. With Ossa being no more how is that effecting the overall re sale of a non existent manufacturer??? Any input would be sweet!!!! Thanks Andy

  16. Hi just finishing my tr 77 verde after 16 months of hard work and I am having problems getting the rear mudguard to fit as it looks like it might need to be trimmed around the rear pipe just before the silencer. Is this correct and also dose the silencer sit very close to the tyre. Appreciate it if anyone can cast any light on it. Thanks Martin

Curious about opinions regarding front sprockets sizes and how they effect the selection of gears. Stock, my MAR had a 12 on the front. I have ridden the 12 since I finished getting the bike going. I see that 10 tooth and 11 tooth are available. Today I removed the 12 and installed an 11. After riding around the yard a bit, the 11 certainly is capable of being very controlled at low idling speed in first gear. So with first being lower so is second, Second currently with the 11 feels about a bit taller than first with the 12. Does the 10 tooth make second gear about the same as first gear with the original 12 tooth? Curious what others run a…

Dang, heck if I Remember the trick I used when I removed the engine. I remember thinking ‘I need to remember how I pulled this out’. Yeah, sure. I recall it is sort of partly sideways, but I can’t remember if the front part or the back part clears the mounts first. It is pretty tight. Anyone that has done it remember?

I see In Motion offers a tip assembly that could possibly be fitted to the oem shift lever. More likely would prefer to find a common shift lever with the same spline shaft diameter and fit that could simply install easily. Anyone ever found a worthy replacement?
