Anyone have a manual for the forks? Dad is 60kg and only has 3cm of static sag, we are looking for about 6cm and apparantly there is some pre-load spacers that we can remove. I'd feel more comfortable pulling it appart if we had a guide.

I think the Ossa looks to be very innovative and cool. But I have a question about the frame. I have done some research and am unable to find the answer. Frame: CR-MO steel tube profile with pipe and bottom made of cast aluminium So how are these cast aluminum pieces attached to the CR-MO steel tubes? I can't see any bolts. Am i blind, daft or just missing something? Also any concern of damage to the lower portion of the fuel tank with having the skid plate mounted to it? Could be quite a bit of stress on the lower part of fuel tank with the skid plate being bashed and bending around a bit.

Hi, I recently bought a 2011 tr280i. The bike looks in good condition but seems to shift into gear by itself while the engine is running. So I'm trying to pull the gearbox out to inspect. I got the five bolts out and have it in gear but it just doesn't seem to move with a tap on the output shaft. It seems like the clutch shaft is jammed somehow. It doesn't have a clutch fixer nut because it's 2011 so I really need some advice of how to remove it. Cheers.

I changed the oil on our bikes at the weekend. On the 2011, I only got a dribble out of the drain plug, layed the bike over but didn't get much. Cracked the clutch cover as per directions on the Ossa Canada site and ended up with about 220ml of oil. The 2011 is also lacking a magnetic drain plug which I'm going to order. On the 2012, I didn't have to crack the clutch cover and got 220ml. I put 220ml back into both bikes and the oil is at the top of the glass. Does that sound right? The book says there is 350ml of oil in there which means I've changed less than 2/3 of the oil. I used the GRO Synthetic 10w/30 oil which seems to be recommended - I couldn't find the 7…

Hi guys. Got a 2012 Ossa TR280i for a price i could not say no to. I'm a bit worried about parts, and already want to order me a new rear fender as i am pretty sure I'm going to break the one on the bike eventually. Where can one order Ossa bits these days?

HI, Can anyone help. I have a 2013 Ossa TR280i and i have notice on the LHS of the bike there are 2 wires not connected and without a connector. Upon closer inspection they appear to be Green and Black and i think they should be connected to the Sensor Gasolina. Can anyone shed some light on the function / location of this. The bike runs fine !

Hi all, I have a 2012 tr280i and cannot find anywhere at all; the stock suspension settings, static and race sag and suspension travel, if anyone could possibly help I would be forever grateful ! I have checked forums, even emailed ossa and asked and had no reply. Thanks in advance

  13. Hi. I was hoping someone could help med with a problem I have. After winter storage my 2013 Ossa TR300i keeps boiling. Fan won’t start but I’ve tested it out and the fan works with direct power. I’ve read multiple post’s on this but still can’t figure out what’s wrong. I’m no pro when it comes to MC engines so I’m having some difficulties figuring out everything. I was thinking of sending it to service, but found out that it cost almost as much as I gave for the bike so I’m hoping I can fix it myself. Thus far I’ve checked all connections and they seem fine. I’ve ordered a can of Evans waterless cooling hoping it will stop the boiling but i think I should fix …

Went to see a nice looking, clean 1976 Ossa tonight with the intention to buy. On first sight, looked better than the pictures, eventually fired up, sounded fine, revved well, engine sounded good, however......had three issues... 1) Despite sounding good had next to feck all drive ?? Like no matter what, it hardly went at all, chap said I might be in the wrong gear 2) Front forks were almost solid, like hardly any movement in them at all ?? 3) Brakes were almost non exsistent ? Now I have no idea about older bikes, but I did expect them to have a bit of go, but anyone care to offer a theory or two for issues 1 and 2 ? as I was already warned about Ossa brakes being …

Recently acquired an Ossa TR77 - well used but sound. Been standing for about 5 years. Initially it had no spark but I tweaked the points and they started to show life. The bike is not a good starter so I have some new points and a new condensor to fit tomorrow. The spark is good but it is not bright blue - hoping the new points will fix it. Got it running yesterday but it would not rev and kept bogging and backfiring in the exhaust. After a while it was running of a fashion but with cloud s of blue smoke which I hope was just unburnt fuel. What is the best plug for this engine. Is it possible to fit the mar engine into a gripper frame. On the carb there is a large ai…

Hi all I recently restored a TR77 that I got as a box of bits many years ago. It is now up and running (and road registered too!). When I first rode it, the clutch was SO heavy, and gear changing was very difficult without crashing and clonking them. I thought this was possibly just a clutch problem as it was so heavy. I took the clutch cover off and removed a plate - the outer metal clutch plate - to allow some adjustment, as the springs were already as far out as I could get them. This meant that the outer pressure plate ran on a friction plate (I ensured that it was flat and smooth first), and when I reassembled it all (again with the springs as far out as I…
