I'm new here and have just bought a used 2019 Vertigo Combat Vertical 250cc. I'm about to change the oil in both front forks, but I'm a bit unsure about the correct oil level. In the service manual for the bike, it says the oil level should be 130 mm in both forks. However, in the service manual for the forks — which are Tech Suspension — it states that the level should be 130 mm in the left fork and 75 mm in the right. Which one should I trust?

Anyone else's front mud guard rattle like the dickens whenever you moving quickly over rough ground/landing the front wheel/or otherwise doing something that causes it to shake? Sounds like it's the front tire rubbing, but I tried shimming it and that didn't make a difference. The next possibility would be side to side movement causing it to rattle against the mounting bracket, but I'm not 100% sure. If it is, I don't really see an obvious way to shut it up.

Out for a ride This morning and my 2017 300 combat started blubing and running like a bike running low/out of fuel (it had a full tank). It cleared for a bit and then as soon as I started opening the throttle it would bog, but would tick over fine. I stopped the bike and then it wouldn't restart. After a long push back to the van I changed the plug (Had a good spark) and swapped battery, but It still wont start. I can hear the fuel pump cycle when I set the start button. So I'm thinking Injector blocked or a fuel pressure issue. Has anyone else had something similar? Any practical advice?

Got a 2021 Combat works 250, and its really hard to start from cold. Once its hot, not problem, 1 or 2 kicks every time. I've read that i should be doing 3/4 slow kicks, then quarter throttle and kick it properley. I'm usually into about 20 kicks before it comes alive? It's got a brand new BPMR4A plug in (previously a 6 but same symptoms). Fuel is super unleaded with 30ml (170:1) of rock oil. Any ideas?

Last week I had a high compression cylinder head insert installed on my 250 (S3 insert). Compared it with a standard 250 of the same year (at the dealer's) and it feels much stronger and runs cleaner. So very happy with the result. The high compression is noticeable when starting, but it still starts with the first kick warm, three when cold. Strange thing is that the idle went up. Stalling it now is almost impossible, but clutch control needs some adaption. Any thoughts how idle can increase by a high compression insert?

Is it just me, or has anyone else that's ridden the Vertigo and the TRS find the TRS is infinitely easier to nose wheelie? I freely concede that my technique is horrible, and that, were it not, it would largely make no difference. But given what it is, I find the Vertigo carries so much weight down low, that it's very hard to initiate a nose wheelie without a kicker to help get the rear end started on its way up. Once it's up there it's easy to control because of the centralized mass, but unfortunately sections are seldom set up with my inadequacies in mind. The TRS by contrast is the lightest feeling bike I've ridden, and the rear end will come up incredibly easily…

So I'm starting to notice that when the bike is warm, on starting it it wants to, and sometimes does, stall immediately after starting if you give it a bit of throttle. It acts like a lean bog from a carb bike. It seems to be less an issue if it gets a really good kick to restart it, and/or you immediately give it a blip as it's firing. Anyone else know what I'm talking about here, or am I special?

Hy, maybe anybody has the same problem. My Vertigo R3 MY 2021 starts poorly when hot. When the fan was running and the engine was off longer than about 15sec. it fires up very poorly. The problem was the capacitor and the cables which look like this: hope this helps anyone BR M

Just out of interest, I've looked online, no website, prices, contact etc, etc. Is it a case you have to be on facet#@t to find anything out, or am I not looking hard enough. If I was in the market for a new bike, (even though I love 4rt's, but Montesa and Honda uk, lately, really annoy me how pi$$ poor they do things) would seriously consider an ice hell. P.S. This isn't a dig at vertigo, just a simple Q. For prospective buyers.

Is this bike going to be available in 2018? As it’s the best looking vertigo, the rest of the range are a Bit Ott in the colour department imho. Iknow someone that would quite like one of these ;0).

Got the 550 gram weight kit(Vertigo kit). Shifter hits the case. Any fixes out there or am I resorting to grinding down the shifter?
