  1. Ishy had a trickle of water coming down a banking to the left of that photo so he set too with some rocks, logs and concrete a few summers ago. The beck section isn't quite up to SSDT standards but it is pretty good and it looks natural (bugger's always moaning about man-made sections too!)

    Bhp 2007 Rev3 270cc

It's surprising how many ride at 80+mph at the SSDT...

    Bhp 2007 Rev3 270cc

They get nice and sticky (don't last very long though!)

  5. Steve Balmer is now top dog at Microsoft, as Bill Gates retired recently... Have a look at a video of him here! Is it any wonder that MS software crashes so often when they employ loons like that
  6. Ho, ho ho The only 5's I ask for are at the SSDT and I don't mind admitting that at all. You've still got time to get your entry in, let's see how you do up there...
  7. Take your bike and get there early to take a look at a few sections - enter the trial if you think you can ride some of them without damaging you or the bike. Have fun, have a go and ask plenty of questions

    Fuel

Reducing the Vat rate from 17.5% to 15% was designed to help businesses, a pathetic attempt by the Gov't especially when they slap 2p on fuel duty to make up for it. We, along with every other Vat registered business in the UK will have to upgrade our accounts software, change our quote templates, amend our T&C's, write to our customers, update our website etc. etc. Then, in 13 months time we will have to change it all back again except the Vat rate will probably go to 19% or 20%. And, the 2p fuel duty will still be there. The Bollockticians reckon that consumers will spend more money at the shops, as they will save 2.5% Vat. Spend
  9. I thought a track stand was slightly rolling forwards and backwards on an incline? You will soon get a big fat 5 doing that in a trial If you want to balance on the spot, turn your bars halfway between straight ahead and full lock to start with. Stand on the pegs and instead of using your weight, nudge the bars to the right if you're falling right and to the left if you're falling left. For practice, on hard ground let your tyres down but don't have them flat. It's easier on soft ground, stick the front wheel in a rut and you will be able to balance all day long...

    Endurocross 08

Are we going to get a funny report or what? This cryptic **** is boring!

    Endurocross 08

So who won then? (or should that be, who lost?)

When is this momentous race and will it be video'd?

    Big Change

Aye but this will just result in less of us spending money on USA holidays, which will then **** up your economy even more, which will then back fire on us and we'll all be packing up to live in Iraq...
  14. Are you in the UK? If yes, ring the importer on 01535 655970 If not, send an email to info@beta-uk.com
  15. Lots of videos on there, quite impressive too...
  16. Excellent explanation, cue Eddie Lejuene to say you're wrong though...
  17. Yep, confirmed here http://www.trialscentral.com/cms/showartic...?articleID=4269

    Ken Block

Very nice, he likes to turn in early!
  19. So the scrap yards are full of Beta's then?
  20. Remove the brace again and loosen the bottom yoke fork clamps but keep the top clamps tight. Hold the front brake on and pump up and down on the forks which should push/pull the bottom clamp into the right place. Tighten everything up and see if all is ok (if not, you could have a bent fok), refit the brace and have another look...
  21. It might have been 2004, I was stood right next to the guy doing the video and couldn't believe it when his minders started dragging Raga about!
