Help Appreciated
I rode a 200 in youth B and there were no complaints, a mate of mine rode a montesa 250 in youth D when he was 13. You won't gain any points if you win, but who cares really. If you look at the results then you'll probably see loadsa people riding out of class on bikes with greater cc than what they are supposed to be on. Bob

Squashed Radiator?
also, anybody noticed that their radiator at the top is slightly off to the right when looking at it fom the front and has been dinked against the frame. Mine has at some point and is very close now, looks like yours has aswell totalshell, (little dink on the rim at the top rhs). Is this normal, I can't really see why mine is off centre other than if something is bent or it's supposed to be like that. sorry to borrow your thread! *I just thought it followed the trend a little. Observing.
i think most clubs use scoreboards for scoring, but for some most especially large/small trials the rider carries a punchcards with them, i imagine they would be easier so long as you'r abit handy with the punch, and you know what section number it will be on each lap. You can check with the rider (most will be honest) if you get a little stuck. Bob

Observing.
just make sure you know the rules enough, and go along to a trial and where they are signing riders on, just offer to observe. Start off at a small trial, my dad sometimes observes but he hasn't a clue and he gets along fine. Take care with the riders numbers. Bob

Interest Free 06 Deal?
I've seen these on the new Beta's, however whilst we were at sheffield waiting for it all to begin, he explained to me that it wasn't actually interest free, some kind of way of making it seem interest free since you py it in some sortof tricking installments, may be different, but work out how much you'd pay either way. New Beta 200 Problems
actually i think that it was billy T who strongly suggested not to connext the exhaust side tube to the overflow as that would mean that rather than petrol flowing out of your carb onto the floor/crankcase, it will just fill up your engine, i actually run mine without a tube on the bottom overflow without any problems, i just drain my carb after every wash, and it's ran fine for ages. Beginners At Trials Mountain Biking
if you get protective gear don't go too over the top, you want shin pads, not shin plates if you know what I mean. As regarding teckniques its pretty useful to be able to hop on the back wheel, putting in little pedal strokes sortof whilst hopping helps to move you forward and keep the front end up. being able to endo and turn is good too, also try practicing steps of different sizes helps. if noones watching park benches are quite good or if you live in a town then there is loads of stuff. Beta Website
try e-mailing info@betamotor.com and then FAO ing it to that bloke. as regards mixture screw and tickover screw surely that will be quite a bike and area specific thing although with the mixture screw (and needle position) presuming that it has standard jets there will be a starting point to work from I would have thought.
