When I say I did the carb the night before, it was the week before, but it's the first time the bike has been run since doing the carb. I shall drop the oil over the weekend and see what comes out.
I checked the plug and it was black and soaking, changed it, and the bike fired up and ran ok then put bike in the van then headed home. I didn't want to say I'd replaced the plug to see what replies I got.

Trial the other night my bike was running like sh!t, smoking like a good un. Cutting out a few times, particularly near the end but also smoking a fair bit all night. Now I had the usual mixture in the fuel, the carb had just been cleaned the night before, and the bike has always ran well, so what might be the issue ??

I was 45 when I started, others I know were 52/50/49, so no you're not too old to learn, though much like us, you'll never be a champion unless you're gifted.

. Think it's about time some on here started to remember when they were young, and most probably did a lot worse than ride without a helmet for a bit, bunch oh auld fannies by the sounds of things.

Just to add, I have never ripped any TC photos only the two you sent me from the Bob MacGregor a couple years back

No neither do I, however, I honestly can't see how you'd be able to enforce your position on this, if say, 50 or 500 different people ripped your photos.

If you can get one of the ones that has been converted for wheelchair use, has a high roof, which gives you great standing room inside the back.

No suggestions from me, however, I also noticed this on my sherco today, plenty life in pads, but very weak, rear brake working, though plenty fluid.
