08 Gasgas
Well you may be surprised to know that is the very reason they have changed it
-
08 Gasgas
It does talk about some geometry changes to the chassis but how significant these are I wouldn't know.

There are a few historic problems with Flatheads namely poor efficiency, and heat dissipation when stressed. I think GG have been bold to go for such an engine and as it also has EFI as well, they certainly have surprised me. However, It should be good for low down grunt thats for sure so I expect it to make a very good club bike! IMHO

It Exists!
Looks interesting although Flat head technology

World Trial Championship
For trials to go ballistic in the US, there needs to be big money in the sport. If you have a son/daughter growing up with some talent, you will steer him/her towards a sport which will earn enough money to pay the bills in future. Unfortunately with trials, its the other way round, its more about paying bills just to compete including money to live IMHO

Autoruns can be downloaded by clicking Here I use this too but be wary as its a very powerful tool. Similar to a Raga GasGas 300

Twinshock Mx At Washougal 2007
The only thing I remember from watching the scrambles at Ringwood from late 70's was the noise of the CCM (was it Vic Allan/John Banks?) and the smell of Castrol R .

Dudley Club. Clows Top, Mamble.
I did read this thread a bit fast and didnt take it in I was looking at the tmx site for it and wondered where it was. But as they are slipping a bit lately in getting the comps up in time I wondered whether they had missed it! Doh I looked at the acu western site http://www.acuwesterncentre.org.uk/2007events.html and I see its a centre championship trial. That is a nice venue but the weather is looking a bit dire for tomorrow so may give it a miss.

Computer Tech Heads
Click on Start then Run and then type in the box msconfig . This will bring up the System Configuration Utility When its open, click on the Startup tab and it will show you what is running at start up. If you uncheck the box of anyone of the programs, they wont start at start up. If you are unsure what each thing does, copy the name and google it to find out about it. When the computer restarts, it will come up with a box reminding you that some settings have been changed. Click OK then click OK on the next box then click Exit without restarting and then the computer will boot without those programs loading and running at startup. You can always go back and reselect them again if you wish. A few other things cause slow start-up like the following :- Fragmented Drive - run the defragment tool found in Start > All Programs > Accessories > System tools > Disc fragmenter Non Optimised Registry - Install this Crap_Cleaner - this will clear out a lot of problems but make sure you back-up the registry as instructed. Good Luck

Czech Republic
Great vid ! Bit of a tall order asking the guy to ride a section after just 2 days on a bike! Also, give the guy a break and get him on a gasser and not a 4t! Just watched it again and I reckon he rides better than me

Photo Whizzkids!
Yes mate, I done it for him... and what a most enjoyable job it was too

X-treme Trials New Video
Well, if he gets the hang of it, get him to feature some trials in one of their vids

Which Bike To Buy?
I would agree with that. The GG does seem to ride well (Coming from a Sherco) but peeps do have problems with them if you don't look after them or give them heavy abuse. IMHO

Lewis And F1
F1 is a little like Honda Montesa in Trials - The most successful teams have loads of dosh so they get the best drivers, mechanics, designers etc etc and they spend the most on development. When you look at the lap qualifying times, theres just 10ths of a second between the top few, then it levels out to be as much as a few secs to the back of the grid. Considering the millions they spend on running the 'slowest' car its amazing any sponsor would support it. Just think what they would get if they spent the money on a trials team! It also makes you wonder why the drivers 6th on the grid and beyond bother at all And another thing.. I thought the race today was boring and the pit stops just leave you confused as to who is winning. They are expecting the punters to do so some maths whilst the race is on! NOT a good idea me thinks
