  1. It's really nice up close too. I beleive he will soon be selling it, as soon as he can get it from the French Exactly how 'close up' did you actually get then Barry
  2. I think you are pretty much right here Toms Dad. The other brilliant rider to be overshadowed had to be Bosis. Young Brown I saw when he was in Australia, and to me was the pick of the crew that came on over for our SuperTrial. If he could be picked up by Montesa and get his mum to give him a few extra feeds, would not be surprised to see him really charge up the rankings. I wouldn't disagree with that. I think Michael Brown has the best chance out of the uk's current best riders to get the WTC title first! Then after that, it could be a host of riders as there are so many good ones about right now
  3. Bou, if the desire stays within him AND he is in the right team, can continue to win for the next 5-7 years. I say that purely because he is a big step up from his peers at the top level, so anyone challenging him would have to get to the top level then go 2 steps further. The other riders coming through right now in the youth/junior classes have got to keep developing to get to that level and thats an unknown how far they can go. Unless of course inline with what has been suggested, the next world champ is someone we don't know too much about right now? IMHO
  4. I like your vision but your timing may be a little too premature. Pat Smage could do well but it will take a while for some others to come through. But saying that, I think you could be right! It certainly is a reasoned observation.
  5. Looks like you have changed your personal settings to Outline . If you look at the top right of the forum under the button, you will see a link drop down menu called Options . Click on that, then at the bottom ,change it to Standard. That should do it.
  6. I like the name you used to name Andys pic . At least that camera was in the right place to hide the years of excessive beer intake That last pic is mint !! Nice one
  7. I have to take issue with this Andy, I did manage 2 pints and kept standing ... as long as its not that cloudy cider stuff down at Mick Danbys local !!
  8. Just to continue the congratulations to Team Atom and the Beta Top Trials Team. Apart from the fact that Michael is an incredible rider, the entertainment that Shaughan and himself provide inadvertently in the sections is just legendary! The smiles it puts on faces in the crowd is irreplaceable. Long may it continue
  9. Not sure either but I do know he hadn't been on it for long then put in a sterling performance to come 2nd! his second lap of 6 was stunning. Nice one Sam
  10. Yes - it is certainly powerful enough!
  11. No, but if you Click Here you will find them.
  12. The party was great although HL, I'm afraid I don't have your legendary drinking power but Andy done a good job of drinking my share.
  13. Actually, the bike does have a lot of White on it as Copemech said above. Maybe thats the new colour ?
  14. Just back from the 'Party in the Park' . One thing about trials is all the riders just coming in and mingling and chatting with the 'punters' ! You just don't see that in any other sports do you? Mint Heath and Barry on the Barbie! With a true Australian's wife overseeing the proceedings (YamFans wife) Big screen up watching 2005 WTC and even pretty fairy lights up around the tent. (think that was Andys idea) Dougie looked very focussed and determined in practice. Hopes he does the ton tomoz !
  15. Nice and warm and NO RAIN - ground pretty dry to be fair - Sections look good. Mini trial was fun New 2008 Sherco's unveiled. New colours with white/blue/black frame for the 2T and red combo for the 4T. Brand new Ceriani front forks look NICE - New swan neck bike stand Didn't see a 2008 Caby as yet.
  16. Looks nasty Them Sherco's have some torque dont they Hope the recovery goes well
  17. Sounds like you think you hold a higher intellectual status on these things with this blatantly arrogant comment.. just to simplify it you say .. T*** Andy & Cota Kid , you say you won't be contributing to the flood victims but alas you will ! You will be contributing indirectly if you pay tax ( which of course you do).
  18. Sorry, I shouldn't have mentioned that but that subject gets right on my tits! and no, I'm not a plumber Let me guess... you sell rubber dingys and rent out water pumps and dehumidifyers. No, but sounds like theres money in it
  19. Sorry, I shouldn't have mentioned that but that subject gets right on my tits! and no, I'm not a plumber
  20. There is some logic in this statement simply because in his age group, he dominated his class and is still beating the same riders convincingly in the Junior however, he isn't the complete article and lets see how he develops. After all, he is still only a nipper! To discount Dib's chances is pretty unfair to say the least. He continues to get better and score better so he certainly hasn't peaked. Time will tell Finally, seeing any British rider in the mix having a go is excellent considering how hard it is to get there in the first place. I will be shouting them all on You have evidence of this? if not, then I suggest you offer an apology for that disingenuous remark.
  21. I think we should send in the Troops ! oops, cant do that, they are all in Iraq! I think we should send in the Doctors ! oops, cant do that, they are all in the Taliban I think we should send in Bottled water! oops, cant do that, the government thinks bottled water is damaging the planet so that will be banned no doubt. I think we should send in David Cameron ! oops, cant do that, he is in Rowanda as he thinks thats more important than people in trouble in his own constituency. and I could go on.... To answer your statement Dabster, the UK provides financial aid inline with the rest of the 'developed' international world in the magnitude of millions of UK taxpayers money. We don't have a choice in that, no they just tax us and send the money off. Where it goes and how it is spent no one knows! Last financial year, I paid 230k in tax (including corporate tax), and I want all that money spent on looking after people in this country thank you! If I want to help people in other countries, let that be my personal choice but don't use my taxes I pay for it! Phew!!! serious emotive subject for me
  22. Hawkstone is a little wet at the moment lets hope it drys out for next week

    Mr Vain ?

SirHC - WOW, if all Montesa 4RT's looked like that I would have one tomorrow just to have it in the garage to look at. You have got a nice balance with the colour scheme there matey - Nice one
  24. At the moment none. But if and that is a big if, I am able to buy a new to me bike probably no more than $3000 U.S. (and that may be a stretch I will probably ride my 2000 sherco 2.9 until trials is run on hoverbikes) I guess I am not looking for "cheap" but the "best bang for the buck" and the bucks are lower than purchasing new. Sounds like an 04 onwards would be the best bet. Thanks gentlemen and if there is any more info on what to look for please post. Atomant, How hard does a person have to ride a bike in order to muck up the clutch cage on that new of a bike? What level did they ride at? I know of another 05 Raga that needed one changed as well. Both have been well ridden I would say. One level expert and I don't know what level you would put Spud at!! probably Beginner
