Hello, First 3 199-B that came to Comerfords where 5 speeders and had blue frames. Call Bultaco Uk with engine/ frame numbers and I will tell you what you have... There where 10 x 198-B made with 6 speed special for France at the time.. Last Fronteras had 6 speed also....

The reason for putting this on here is to stop someone paying way to much money for something that is not what the man says it is. There was only one bike of this style used by Vesty and it is in our workshop. This bike was made and first used in the SSDT 1983 and the same bike was modified every week. The man selling this bike insists its a 1982 (not possible) The engine and frame numbers of this bike are not in the Comerford/Bultaco Uk ( I have them) sales records.

We use air valve fork nuts in Bultaco's to let the air out not to pump them up.

The works Comerford 199-A bikes in 1979 had the rear loops cut of and this is a bad copy.

Its the low tension coil that is your problem, This is behind the fly wheel.

340 199-B standard gearing is 11t 40t

The buyer was from Italy ..... so it would have cost a lot for transport aswell.

All 325's 340's from 1975 onwards used a Bing as standard and is much better than an Amal but that is my opinion and will cause another debate.
