its about 4 miles from the centre of Fort William to the gondola , which is where the trial takes place

I was talking to the farmer where we stay a few years ago about the weather , he reckons that in the Fort William area there are only two types of weather ! it is either raining or it is about to rain . I think he is probably right .

There is a chap comes to our trials with a 110 hard top he seems to get the bike in and out without to much trouble

I have just come in from Christmas shopping the snow is falling and we are freezing . The neighbor knocks on the door with a box she took in an hour ago , guess what was in it ? A lovely pair of slippers ! no of course not it was the FIM book . Just like to thank Andy and Jake for a really positive response Happy Christmas to all at TC and G2F

Has anyone ordered the FIM yearbook and received it ? I have ordered the book from G2F the money has been drawn from my partners account but the book has not turned up ! A phone call to G2F has a recorded message telling us that they are closed till January 4th and to send an email if you have a query . Email sent but no reply , a very unsatisfactory state of affairs.

I have been offered a brand new Keihin Carb fo my sons 2010 125 , what are the advantages or disadvantages of fitting this part . What problems will there be getting the jetting right ?

My 97 315 lost its sparks a few months ago we traced the fault to a wire worn through by the fan , hope yours is as easy to put right !

A class and B class can only ride a bike with an engine less than 125cc , A rider becomes B class the next calender year following his/her 12th birthday and becomes A class the year after his/her 15th birthday

Sorry but I said it was the worst bike I ever owned and it makes no difference as to what was achieved by others on the bike. My results took a huge dip when I rode the SWM and improved markedly when I swapped it for a 200 Fantic , I didnt really get on with the 240 Fantic that is why the 200 remains my favourite twin shock

I can honestly say the SWM 320 was the worst bike I ever had , 8 months of hell . Total waste of money !

Have just dug out an old video taken by my dad in 1979. Sorry about the quality but the cameras in those days where not the best and I would imagine the tape has deteriorated over the past 30 years . Anyway I can recognise a fair few riders but there are a few I can not name . 3 vids in total the first one is

Not sure who he is , there was loads of light where he was and a flash gun was totally unnecessary. It really boils me when a flash gun is set off in a riders face
