Try going back to the section you are having difficulty with after you are finished and ask the obserever if you can have a few practice rides, try different techniques and gears until you get it right

I think this is just another way that this government has come up with to try and squeeze more cash out of the hard working people of this country . I cannot see it doing any good whatsoever all it will do is create more jobs for little jumped up jobsworths and cost us a fortune . I would not be suprised if the ACU has already been in negotiations as they may be able to make a few quid out of this !
-
Think of all the posibillities the government will have to relieve us of our cash , First registration fee , annual fee, change of ownership fee , and i am sure they will come up with lots more

Would I buy another, without hesitation but i hope mines going to be around for a long while yet

That short bit of the course looks really tough! How long is the full lap ?

Make sure there is plenty fluid in reservoir
Slacken bleed nipple keep spanner on nipple
SLOWLY press back brake pedal bubbles will come out of nipple
Keep brake pedal pressed and retighten nipple and release brake pedal
repeat as many times as nesc until bubbles stop coming out of nipple you should feel pressure on the pedal now
-
The guys at Beta will probly tell us that a link is not nescacery but allm the other manufacturers use them , so i think i will go with the majority and say that the linked system will do a better job

When the first mono trials bike came out (yamaha TY250 ) it was explained to me that the purpose of the link was to create a rising rate of compression . ie as the rear wheel moved further up through its range of ttravel the more movement was created on the shocker. This gave the effect that the first few inches of travel at the back wheel where softly sprung but became much stiffer as the wheel was subjected to higher loads . The TY 250 made every other bike obsolete almost over night

Many moons ago I worked for a large national company that had a regular safe driver competition, the criteria being you had to be accident free for 5 years. The event consisted of a free night on the Beer and a presentation of some gift vouchers . My particular department had 6 representatives ( out of about 120 eligible workers) All of us where current motorcyclists. So it may be that motorcyclists in general make better car drivers

My Son has been on this all weekend - click here

Just dug out an old picture of my 82 CCM CMT 310 which had a Hiro motor and have to admit Iwas wrong , The Hiro had its chain on the other side , having a good look at the bike in question it really looks like a mono shock which probably rules out all the Armstrong / CCM possibilities
-
I think its an armstrong with the Hiro engine circa 1981, I think its aHiro engine as the carb appears to be at the rear of the barrel as opposed to the rotax engine whch has its carb very much lower
-
I am really suprised that the Scottish was even mentioned as i am sure nobody has ever ever ever carried fuel in a seperate container
-
Thanks for your oppinions , my personnal opinion is that the FIM should leave well alone and allow a variety of engine types. I was suprised by the comment that the question shouldnt be asked !
-
First time I submited it, it failed I was suprised to see I had two topics !!
