Name and shame doesn't get you your barrel back. I would put my energy in triyng to resolve the problem. You will feel better afterwards.- Exid 11 Trials Light Weight Trousers

I find that the link plates make the rear more lively, got more spring to it i.m.o. (I weigh about 90kg) (excuse me for my bad English )- Rear Brake Bleeding!
Of course, I completely missed the part where you took the rear wheel out. Shame on me! tItel and neilh are probebly right.- Adding Nitrogen To Rear Suspension?
I don't think you wil feel much difference with only 2 turns. If adjusting the spanner nut is not enough, you can fit a linkage plate upgrade kit: http://www.handdracing.co.uk/userimages/procart2.htm I've refilled the nitrogen on my 315R (same system) but it was not nessecary. It had not lost any pressure, witch is logical as nitrogen is thicker than air. Be very carefull when you try to check the nitrogen pressure. It's only a small volume so try to prevent any leak when measuring.- New 4Rt Owner
The best thing I bought for my 4RT (more stable and not so protrubing as the original. http://www.jbanyeres.com/en/chasis/2260-caballete-aluminio-rtl-2t-4t-ligero.html And a NGK CR5EH-9 sparkplug in temperatures below 10°C for better starting- 2009 Gas Gas Txt Pro 280 Cracked Frame
Hey, just answering his question.- 9T Sprocket Problem
None of the 3 threaded holes have a metal insert on my Cota. Only the 2 holes near the axle are there for the chaintensioner. (I don't think the original small snailcam-chaintensioner reaches to the 3rd hole) So yes, you can use the hole closest to the axle. The 3rd hole, the farthest away from the axle, is there for mounting the plastic rear axle protector that is mostly only found on new bikes) It might be possible that the larger after-market chaintensioners diameter is large enough to use the 3rd hole, and i see no problem with that.- 2009 Gas Gas Txt Pro 280 Cracked Frame
The trial shop where i buy my parts says, that when he takes over a Gas Gas from sombody who buys another bike at his shop, there is a great chance the Gas Gas has cracks in the frame... (btw, my Cota 315R cracked near the rear shock mount and my Cota 4RT had a crack near the upper engine mount when I bought it)- Rear Brake Bleeding!
Pictures say more than words: To prevent the minor leak (@ 4:53 in the film) I put some teflon tape on the treads of the bleederscrew.- Bleeding Brakes
Pictures say more than words: To prevent the minor leak (@ 4:53 in the film) I put some teflon tape on the treads of the bleederscrew.- Are You Running Too Much Oil In Your 2T Mix?
If I understand your theory correctly, a diesel engine should produce more horsepower than a gasoline engine... hmmm... But what burns faster? Gasoline or oil? I think that also has a great (or even greater) influence on the combustion. Just thinking out loud... Btw, I used to run my '98 Cota 315R at 80:1 (as reccomended by Montesa) with no problems.- Petition... A Belgian Club Need Your Help (December 2012)
Signed the petition! @ Old Trials Fanatic: Every little bit helps. Thanks for the vote- Looking For A Bike - Advice
If you run into a Montesa Cota 315R (2000 or younger for the 4-caliper brake) you should try it. You will love it! bullit proof, easy to ride and the parts are not to expencive.- Boot Choice
I used to have Gearne and now I have Alpinestars. They should combine the flexebility of the gearne with the protection of the Alpinestars!- Genk Belgium 4De Proef Olk Trial Maaskant
