The one that's painted is your Air screw not pilot jet, normally set at between 1 1/2 to 2 1/4 turns out.The pilot jet is inside the carb,

You can manuals manuals here http://www.gasgasmotos.es/en/manuals.html

What you need to do first is make sure the rest of the carburettor is clean inside, you need to remove it from the bike, take the 14mm brass nut out from underneath and remove the float bowl, line everything up on the bench in order and remove the pilot jat and starter jat. blow them out with compressed air and refit back together... By the sounds of it I bet the pilot jet is blocked!! With the fuel screw (the one to the left of the idle screw) turn it all the way in, then back it out 3.5 turns, this is a good base setting but all bikes run differant. With the tickover screw you need to just start the bike up and turn it in until the bike is just ticking over nicely or where you like it, if the bike is running lumpy (rich) then just turn the fuel screw in a quarter of a turn at a time until it runs better. If the bike is hunting for fuel (weak) then turn the fuel screw out until it runs better... Hope this helps copied this to save typing

Try slackening your adjusting screw on your lever.so it only starts to work 3/4 to half way in but make sure you still have full travel.when operating it.or try some of these fully adjustable, for reach i use these on my bike.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GASGAS-TRIALS-APICO-BLUE-TRICK-AJP-FLEXI-LEVERS-/191787138808?hash=item2ca7677ef8:g:hqAAAOxydlFS8W5A

To fit the 2006 mudguard you need the filter/seat top also.I had same problem with my O2.I fitted airbox/filter top from a 2004 to mine.

The model range here also check Red for 2004 rear shock for damping with the adjuster at the top of it. can be expensive to repair or replace Front forks muguard support bracket is across top of the forks not up and over as in earlier models,2005 onwards have black coated fork stantions, also the filter support brackets not cracked or broken will makes the rear mudguard sit a lot lower. but only about £15 each to replace. you can also check my profile and see a pic of my 2004 Rev 3 Check out both of these links http://www.betausa.com/node/751 http://www.motomerlin.co.uk/moto/motobeta.html

This video shows testing shock with spring removed.you should be looking for pressure both ways compression and rebound without knowing length of original spring, hard to say if the spring is any good maybe they had adjusted it up.
