  12. john is certainly correct in that 'numbers correct' vehicles carry a premium, more so since the airing of the many US tv shows where vehicles are bought and sold. However they should also be regarded as only one part of the whole. His complete history to his bike is clear and documented with others though it is less clear witness the recent topic on these pages on royal enfield registration numbers where 3 registration numbers covered virtually every works/development bike they built and the incredibly interesting article recently regarding sammy millers bultaco that was or wasnt where many believed..

  16. seems we ve been doing just this in yarkshire for a fair old while with YCMCC pre unit trials.. single route classes for rigid preunits twins owt esles is a special.. or if thats not definitive how about the big bike series.. just for bangers of 350 or greater rigid and springers NO two strokes/cubs.. one simple route only..

  18. the wheels need to be inline as near as damn it.. when the bike rolls it will be fighting to run straight all the time if they are offset.. a wise old fella said ride the sections not the bike.. the engine needs offsetting by relocating the the front and rear near side mounts and the wheel needs 'dishing' appropriately.. do it right
