    Running In

Every second oil filter change i change the gasket and o rings manage to get away with gasket in between. It can be a pain removing the old gasket. Don't forget to grease your spring and make sure you get the filter in the right way round. Then check you haven't over filled with oil. I know i'm sad but get so much pleasure ordering parts from Sandifords, receiving them the next day then fitting them. Everything comes apart so easily and goes back together just as well 4rt a pleasure to work on

    Sales!

Supply doesn't seem to be a problem up here a well respected gentleman in the later stages of trialling has just bought a new Repsol Replica no problem trying to get it to a desk top to remap has caused more difficulty
  13. Have you had a Montesa 4rt Dixie? What has put you off them? My son has just bought a Beta 2006 250 had a Gas Gas Pro previously. He loves it. Pain in the bum remembering to turn the fuel on and off at each section and parking it uphill and to the right but apart from that its well put together and the suspension is excellent. Left hand kickstart not a problem or as difficult to operate as we suspected. As with all manufacturers I've dealt with excellent service from Gary at John Lampkins. I still prefer my 4rt but it's horses for courses A lot of riders in our centre are going Sherco this year but most have come off Gassers
  14. The legend that is Geoff Robson still wears NCB wellies in the north east centre he's the only rider with dry feet every week Doesn't affect his results either he does well

    Knocking

Check out your front disc guard. They sometimes vibrate like crazy and make a rattle. I'm assuming it's not just one knock and it does sound like pinking
  18. Gas Gas uk offer an excellent mail order service and they sponsor trials Central so can't be bad at all

  20. u missed a rider out there Craig Mich lin
  21. My assessment, though purely not professionally conducted you understand, is based upon the fact that Rappers thinks its fine to take away the individuals right to decide if they want to enter or not. What about the guys who struggle at club events, should they not bother entering? Buy a bike, look at it but whatever you do don't ride it or enter any events that you aren't capable of winning. If every one adopts that philosophy where will our sport be in 5 years or 10 years time. Every event organiser hopes the event they put on will be fully subscribed too and thankfully the great tradition that is the Scottish is over subscribed each year and long may it continue. I have marked out and assisted at many events but as yet have not wreaked havoc on my fellow competitors by organising one. Perhaps in the future Good on you Mr Rapley for organising events and contributing to the sport from all angles and of course for replying to the original post
  22. YOU HAVE USED WORDS OR A PHRASE WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE DELETE YOUR POST/TOPIC. DO NOT TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE FILTERS IN PLACE ON THIS WEBSITE do excellent floor supports for your wheels to tie to check their front page advert
  23. Think anyone that finishes should be really proud of their achievement. Can't understand why someone who finishes last can't enjoy themselves as much as someone who finishes anywhere above them. rapley rides a Montesa but apart from that a divvent think he's got a clue
