  1. each club will be different so it will be best to ask before you sign on. provided your a member of a club in the same centre as the club running the event you shouldn't have to join. if its a closed to club event you will have to join. alternatively you could telephone the club secretary's and ask if you can ride at the event
  2. have a drive to back cwm and ask for a look around there top blokes on the gate. i'm fairly sure there's some flat open space your son could learn on just can't remember if its grass other option would be to turn up at a trial and see if you could ride there but PLEASE pay an entry fee and ask before you do that way your covered with insurance etc. he doesn't have to ride the sections but you might find somewhere at the side of the course to play if you ask
  3. thanks Kinnell and ray i'll have a look and see what i find
  4. I'm hoping to get up to the scottish this year. Any advice on Bed & Breakfast please i can remember a lot of guest houses on the road in to Fort William somewhere pretty close to the town centre would be good, say within 4 miles Cheers hope to see a lot of you there

    Repsol 06

I don't get the 315 bigger master cylinder theory. The master cylinder is bigger but you use the same hoses and couplings therefore the outlet is the same bore. All your doing is adding a bigger reservoir and fooling yourself into thinking you've spent your brass so it has to be better. can anyone explain how a 315 cylinder can make an improvement? my only gripe is my clutch bites when the lever is almost all the way out i'd like it to bite a bit nearer the bars to rest my tired finger a bit
  6. i was just going to say how many iris chains have cracked/split/snapped up here recently the links are spliting across the middles wd40 or not
  7. love the way the bike rides suspension is brilliant, compared to a gas gas changing the air filter is a pleasure doesn't feel heavier or fatter regret not changing to a montesa sooner
  8. Louis bertorelli theres a name from the past. he was a legend. Prepared his ossa's very well he knew all the mods, showed me how to reshape the sump shield so you could get the side casing off without dropping the sump shield. Cut off the inner lug that the chain passed either side of and if the chain caught shattered the casing, re jetted the carb etc. Louis could ride a bit too. Hope your still getting cleans wherever you are Louis
  9. Must be good if you've used it and not bent it
  10. Obviously everything has to go............the lad has a 4rt to save up for
  11. Its all a load of rubbish its like buying a pair of trainers at the
  12. Walter Dalton.......80 this year they don't make them like they used too
  13. Thanks for the replies - especially you Windlestone I'm at a disadvantage as i didn't get to meet you I was in the TC tent but it was dark you must have had to go home early On Sunday morning I wished I had That red cider of r2w's sealed my eyes shut and gave me a stonking head. Can't believe you were in that tent and I never heard you gobbing off
  14. Thanks for the replies - especially you Windlestone I'm at a disadvantage as i didn't get to meet you I was in the TC tent but it was dark you must have had to go home early
  15. Couldn't see for some fat bloke in the section
  16. Section 8 at hawkstone had a gate to the blue route half way up. There were no blue markers at the gate, or gap in the tape, therefore the green route riders could cross the imaginary line where the tape would have been. Section 15 Laia, Cabestany, Taddy and Shaun all crossed blue and red markers with their bikes therefore they left the section. It was a fine line but well observed and everyone treat the same IMHO
  17. Brilliant weekend well organised and great fun Highs Mini Masters Amos going up the big step Steve Saunders sipping beer balanced mid section Being so close to all the bikes and riders Girl on Gas Gas stand in denim shorts watching the youth and junior riders putting in some fantastic rides Laia swearing TC gathering the list goes on Lows Disappointed not all the importers had trade stands i felt the scottish had a better trade area THE AMOUNT OF LITTER left around the sections. I couldn't believe it. If everyone leaves litter like that at their local trials its no wonder we are loosing land to ride on
  18. The french minder carry a huge rock up the steep hillside in section 8 first lap then place it as a kicker in front of a step. Then he was so offended when the observers removed it from the section
  19. Must say Jake looked bloody busy every time we saw him considering the amount of trials publications or publications with trials in there are an awful lot of "press" good on him for personally policing it. If you get the job will there be enough passes to go out with the pink wristbands
  20. Chuck the liner in the washer then spray inside your helmet with Fabreze You sure the horrible smell isn't the BRUT aftershave you still wear
  21. Imagine James Dabill in mid section and he still has time to stick his tongue out at you Heath Jake Miller gave one guy a right roasting then took his press pass of him and ripped it up. The guys son was about 9 and wearing a press pass
  22. Congratulations to Micheal Phillipson and his team. The only private entry in the world championship sections and he completed the trial on a very respectable 122. Micheal has a full time job to hold down which restricts his European forays and to pull a ride off at that level i think is a brilliant effort.
  23. Good job Shaun Gallway kept his helmet on second lap section 6 Steve Colley threw a give away water bottle into the crowd and it hit Shaun on the head
  24. Thanks Caroline my bike is 11 months old. I'll call Geoff tomorrow with the details anyway. All my serviceable items, filters, plugs i buy direct from you. I have not changed coolant or added to it yet. You should try ordering bits from them. They arrive before you put the phone down
