There are a number of moderators, but ultimately the buck stops with me. Having looked at the removed content, it was removed correctly. The rules against advertising on the forums have been in place for many, many years. Just because it is "relevant" doesn't mean it's okay. The easiest way to look at it is to ask yourself "Do I stand to gain financially from this post?" If the answer is "yes" then it's not allowed on the forums - with the exception of paid TC advertisers. There are no exceptions to that rule. Without it, things would descend into a spamfest free-for-all and I'm not going to let that happen.

I'm just sorting through 250ish pics now. Bike seemed to go okay, but there's something just not right about electric bikes. They don't sound right. Or, they don't sound at all...By publishing said map all you would do is tell every chav with an offroad bike where to go. That's why the TC Places To Ride forum is locked down to registered members only. You'll never stop it, but it does limit how far that information is spread.IF this is true then what part of NO-STOP does a three second stop come under? This is part of the bigger problem - the WTC is so broken that local organisers just do whatever they want. We saw that again in France at the weekend in a number of different ways. Dave Horne and family lost their bikes hours before setting off to the next round of the British Championship in Devon. The trials bikes had Trials UK special stickers on but the thieves also took the standard Sherco plastics too so the Sherco may be restored to original before being sold. They destroyed the family's garage to get the bikes and have caused a great deal of costly damage and emotional pain not only for Dave and Michelle but mostly for Dominic, Alex & Matthew. The tight time and long sections, after the riders had asked for and been declined an extension to the overall running time, was the final straw. This is something that has been building up for some time. It is just unfortunate it happened at a brand new venue in a new "country". It's widespread due to the totally false belief that if something is on the internet it is in the public domain and therefore "free" which is, of course, a load of bollocks. These images are COPYRIGHT and must not be used anywhere else.
