Barzio this year. Had to look back at photos as they all become a blur, but it's a good venue. Last there in 2009. The Italian world rounds are always my favourite of the year. The Italians are stark raving bonkers, but they are so passionate about the whole thing. There are always big crowds at Italian rounds which makes for a really good atmosphere. They're usually in very beautiful little places off the beaten track so don't expect a five, four or even three star hotel (can't help with camping, I'm afraid), but you'll always find great little bars and restaurants. It's a ski area so you'll probably find plenty in the way of accomodation at reasonable rates if you don't want to camp. The loop at Italian World Rounds tends to be longer than most others (can't remember how long it was in Barzio last time), but they usually lay on buses for spectators. No need to buy tickets in advance. You just turn up, pay up and ticket includes bus pass - if it's a round that involves buses. Oh, and the venue has a pretty impressive cable car. I remember this because that big scardy poof Miller just about cut the circulation off in my arm hanging on to me, terrified out of his wits going up in it Last time in Barzio...

"Of course I do Mr. O'Leary," "I've had enough, What sort of Hotel is this? I come in for a quiet drink and you treat me like this. I insist on speaking to a manager!" It won't happen as long as he's riding and winning world championships. Honda don't have him to sell bikes (that much is obvious). They have him to say they have a world champion. SSDT falls at the start of world outdoor season. The risk of riding the SSDT and getting injured and subsequently losing them their world champion is too great for them to allow.

Every Trial in the world will be grossly over-subscribed with reserve lists at every event. This will be down to millions taking up the sport and bike sales going through the roof because the FIM made the world championship no-stop. 100% fact.

I read it. Quite impressive they acknowledge that if they don't cater for off-road riders then they'll just go elsewhere. Assume that is West Lothian Council? The clowns at Edinburgh City would never be so accommodating.

You can get results on TC simply by emailing to news AT trialscentral.com - I will post on your behalf. Unfortunately I can't do pre-event stuff like event calendar entries. TC is only me (and not some massive multinational conglomerate as some people seem to think!) and I have a demanding full-time job that's needed to pay the bills so I simply don't have time, but results publishing is quick and easy. Once you get your head round things you can register to post your stuff on TC yourself.

From Beta UK: The following photo shows the radiator header tank pipe in a different position to standard. The Evo comes standard with the header tank pipe routed into the sump guard so if you have any cooling problems you get no warning that the bike is overheating. By re routing the header tank pipe as shown in the photo you get a warning as steam would come out meaning that the bike is overheating which normally is due to the radiator cover being full of mud, lack of radiator fluid or simply riding too fast on the road.
