  1. Looking at the swingarm pivot plates on the frame I would say it's one of Miller's
  2. It's a lightweight, better made version of the standard carb
  3. I wouldn't put it there, the Yamaha wr enduros had them there and if they cut out in water it would get drawn back up into the engine as it cooled
  4. Also find the end of the crack and drill a hole to stop it from traveling any further, the place that did the one on my Suzuki PE did this and that's been fine for years
  5. There's a video on this site "James and Jan @ work", he says at the end that he's wearing a development one and it's working well
  6. First ride out on my Greeves had too many scary moments going down some steep banks, going for the brake to find that it wasn't there, so swapped it over, do whatever feels right for you. Mine was pretty simple just cut the old one off and used an old fantic pedal I had and cut and welded it to suit using the original pivot
  7. There's a fine line between the two
  8. Absolutely brilliant interview
  9. Hi OTF not wanting to rock the boat but this weekends event at Clifton...... I could do with some directions as I've never been to this site Cheers Andy
  10. Does anyone have any pictures of one of these ''British Rival's'' I've searched the interweb and cannot find any

And the frame is a work of art, glad you left it bare
  12. Check the air filter for too much oil most bikes don't like to start if there is an excessive amount
  13. Check your fuel tap, my 81 did this when I first got it, the insides were full of crud and wasn't flowing enough fuel to keep it running
  14. Yeh but I'm a couple of days behind so no spoilers please
  15. Before these new fancy digital cameras came out you used to get negatives with all your pictures, we used to use those with great results
  16. Not sure, that would be a question for the TY riders as that's a mod that gets done on the majesty conversations I think
  17. I've just put a pair of the pro's on my greeves and went for the 50's as I'm 16st so I thought I'd probably flatten the 40's
  18. Fantastic footage, those sections looked really slippery
  19. Don't go too mad with the file just try to get it as flat as possible without losing to much meat from the mount, If I remember correctly I used some sort of food/drink can as all the washers I tried were too thick. I drilled the hole first then cut it out with tin snips. I had the bike for 3 years and it got raced hard and never had any trouble
  20. Sounds like the bolts may have come loose at some point. Carefully file the surfaces flat then shim it, I had this problem on a mx bike, the hardest job was finding a shim thin enough
